Not the middle of nowhere
Recently, 359 billion dollars were spent in a single year to fight climate change!:ack-1::ack-1::ack-1: But the UN says that the climate is getting worse and 5 trillion a year is needed!

Follow the (Climate Change) Money | RealClearPolitics

This means, of course, as the article astutely points out, that climate scientists will have every incentive to produce data to continue lining the pockets of the climate change industry. Well doy!

Does a single climate crusader ever stop to consider what a 5 trillion dollar expenditure means? Moreover, do the ever consider where these funds will come from? The same people who scream about world hunger!:bye1::bye1:

Follow the $$ folks.....and it becomes clear that you sure as hell can count on climate change getting worse and worse no matter how much money is spent!:abgg2q.jpg:

Maybe it should be pointed out to them that if they allow climate change to continue, then world hunger will go down as longer growing seasons and more arable land become available.

I see there is no change in shithole Africa

war/conflicts/etc have a more immediate affect on food production

Wars do not have as wide an effect. Climate change is global after all.

Exactly what did that money buy....

Like any progressive, costs dont matter to Crick or any other of these asshats.

Meanwhile....people suffer.

Like the saying goes.....ideals are peaceful. History is violent. These people are no different than those who worked in the gulag....no soul....no compassion. Mental cases.

Was curious projects they chose to fund ....that much money should produce something tangible other than wealth redistribution.....trying to give them benefit of the doubt here .....

Holy fuck.....

This is why you've spent half of your life on a ship in the middle of nowhere handling test tubes. That's where asocial people should be....away from society. People like you are dangerous....you think in a manner not unlike those who shoot up schools. Mixed up on the big picture. It's a thinking fuck up with these people ( not related to intelligence btw ). These are the people that need to be watched closely.

you have just proven yourself to know NOTHING of history
ever hear of Somalia?? they had the food--it was the conflict that caused the problems
The food currently produced worldwide is more than sufficient to provide adequate nutrition to the global population;
Today, most famines occur during times of civil war

Stalin starved thousands BEFORE WW2
read Bloodlands: Europe in between Hitler and Stalin
Stalin used starvation as a political weapon
It is said that in 1945, Joseph Stalin confided to Winston Churchill at Yalta that 10 million people died in the course of collectivization.
etc etc

Besides which, I am neither ignoring nor advocating for war. You are attempting to create a false dichotomy. The argument here is whether or not global warming will lead to an increase or a decrease in global food supplies. If you want to discuss the costs of war I suggest you find a different forum.

it was called WORLD War 2

Did Hitler, Stalin or Mahammed Aidid have global effects? No.
and it was Stalin AND hitler that started WW2
WORLD War 2
it effected more countries than climate change in MANY categories

So did the Chicxulub meteor. You need to take your comments to a different forum.

Five trillion a year is absurd. Not even the bride could go through that much money in a year.
