The cops in Colorado were trading fire with the white trash maniac armed with a rifle. Citizens and wounded, pinned down cops were in high danger.

Police used a Bearcat armored vehicle....a "tank" as liberals call it....to smash into the building and evacuate innocents and wounded cops.

But hey...dont worry....Obama is taking these vehicles away. Cops dont need them afterall right libs?

If a team of 10 cops walked in to rescue innocents and downed officers...and tried to rush them out while trading fire...how many get hit? A few. Maybe none. Maybe a lot.

Drive in with a Bearcat....load them in it and drive out...how many get hit? None....a Bearcat stops bullets.

So....need vs want? Depends what outcome you're willing to risk.

You're right....it happens quite often. Gunman in a building. Hostages or innocent bystanders. Downed officers. It's not rare at all. Which is WHY so many agencies want an armored vehicle. They're expensive....250k-750k if bought from private company.

Military gives them to PDS for $500. Nearly free.
