The three cops facing a wrongful-death suit in connection with the death of a man with Down syndrome will argue that his death was the result of pre-existing medical conditions, according to filings with the U.S. District Court.

The situation may really need further study by some genius
pathologist. Down's people do have skeletal abnormalities ---I am no expert on the issue but I do recall that they have an
abnormality of the facial bones---esp I believe --mandible------it is possible that the situation includes a particular vulnerability at the level of
the larynx.

It should have never gotten to the point where paramedics were needed. If those officers were too stupid to know this man was handicapped, they should lose their jobs, and possibly do jail time. This story is sickening beyond belief.
