Just found this movie on Youtube.

Basic story is lady is intensely patriotic East German, who has a heart attack and goes into a coma in October 1989. She comes back out 8 months later. The family doesn't want her to have another heart attack, so they create a little bit of the old east germany in her bedroom. They make their own news reports, they scramble to find old east german products.

It is very sad and very funny at the same time.

Yeah right. With the political instability in East Germany in 1988-89 the logical assumption would be that the Berlin Wall finally freed the East Germans. Wouldn't that be good news?
