Reminds me of, "Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?"

George Conway, the husband of White House counselor Kellyanne Conway and a prominent conservative lawyer, responded to President Trump's tweet Friday evening that claimed new court filings involving his former longtime lawyer Michael Cohen exonerated him.

"Except for that little part where the US Attorney’s Office says that you directed and coordinated with Cohen to commit two felonies," Conway wrote in response to Trump. "Other than that, totally scot-free."....

The "two felonies" in question are dubious charges indeed. And Conway's husband - reputedly a competent attorney - is well aware of the weakness of his statement.

The "felonies" are that Trump directed Cohen to pay off two slut-slanderers FOR POLITICAL PURPOSES, i.e., to avoid these embarrassments as part of his political campaign.

But it is equally plausible that Trump ordered the women silenced in order to keep the story away from his lovely wife and grade school-age child. And no court will ever be able to conclude, "beyond a reasonable doubt," that the former motivation was exclusive, which would be required for these two payoffs to be felonious.

Conway is, in the big picture, a NOBODY. If his wife were not a senior Trump advisor, nobody would be paying attention to his ramblings.
