Convention...conference = converence? lol (i'm a dork)

I can't remember where I heard the comment, but it makes sense:

Democratic conventions revolve around 'themes' - This years was 'unity'...and the LMM ate it up.

At the RNC, however, the Media spent all it's time reporting on 'Issues' raised by the delegates/speakers. It's as if Democrats aren't required to provide substance; just a 'feel-good' atmosphere...whereas the RNC is criticized because of it's focus on tangible issues.


Did anyone else pick up on this?

I also noticed a theme as well. Unity to face the challenges of tomorrow.w and yes we were talking about issues. there will be more of that tonight.
