Conservative PAC backs Todd Akin in Missouri

It is likely that Romney will put Akin in his cabinet, if Mitt crawls from his own hole, and is elected. I expect Akin is considered a Super Hero with some of the GOP Brass.

Matt Hoskins, executive director of the Senate Conservatives Fund, sent out an e-mail pitch to supporters this morning explaining the Akin endorsement, reports our Gannett colleague Deirdre Shesgreen.

"Conservative leaders like Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum and Jim DeMint are lining up behind Todd Akin, but the Republican establishment in Washington still refuses to lift a finger," Hoskins said. "That's why the grassroots must rise up and fight back."

Unfortunately the conflict between the radical right and the ‘Washington establishment’ in the GOP won’t be resolved during this election, and the American people will continue to be subjected to reprehensible candidates such as Akin.
