Our Founders were considered liberals,

of course when we speak today we mostly use today's definitions to avoid the difficulty of learning changing definitions through time, and so our Founders were very very conservative.

Note, they were a bunch of old white men, so they would be woman hating ****** hunters.

they were old white men who knowingly set in motion the process by which billions would be freed all around the world. Don't forget Jefferson was born a slave owner but he put more in the Declaration about the evils of slavery than about taxes. Had any of us been born then we could only hope to have been as progressive as they were.

well I actually don't think they have the IQ to comprehend enough to be much affected. One can always hope though!!

The average age of the delegates was 43 and Franklin's 81 raised the average considerably. Some were liberal and some conservative, but the ideas of govenment were liberal straight from the Age of Enlightenment and Locke. Had they been conservative, as was Hamilton, they would have talked of monarchies and such, as did Hamilton.
