Conservatism: ingenuity, prosperity, and liberty

Conservatism encompasses the absolute best of man in every capacity. It's built on liberty, which in turn spurs innovation, which in turn produces prosperity. With Republicans controlling everything coast-to-coast (the White House, the House, the Senate, and 33 of the 50 states), we are experiencing unprecedented prosperity. Things started to turn around with the results of the 2010 mid-terms and the final piece to the turbo-charged prosperity was President Trump taking the White House and removing all of MaObama's illegal Executive Orders designed to block his enemies and reward his pals.
At first the plan was working, but in 2016 something happened. U.S. oil rigs began coming back online. Oil production shot back up. OPEC was baffled. How were these yankees beating us? The answer? American ingenuity. We invented technological breakthroughs that made fracking cheaper and more efficient.
That's what conservatism does. Every time. And progressivism does the polar opposite every time (just ask the people of Venezuela). It restricts liberty, which in turn decimates ingenuity, which in turn results in perpetual poverty and misery.
As of last month, U.S. oil production hit a record high. We're pumping out over 10.7 million barrels a day. We just leapfrogged the Saudis who are pumping 10.4 million. Russia is number one at 11.1, but U.S. production is set to be near 12 million by next year. We will be the number one producer of oil by 2019.
If you had told someone 20 years ago that the U.S. would produce more oil than Saudi Arabia, you would have been laughed out of the country. Yet today, thanks to conservatism, here we sit producing more than anyone but Russia (and we will soon surpass them). Fracking has created energy independence, affordable energy, jobs, wealth, and prosperity. And the left has done everything in their power to prevent it. Fracking is just another example of how conservatism encompasses the absolute best that man has to offer, while progressivism produces the absolute worst that man has to offer.

Making American oil number one again
What will happen going forward is what has always happened when the GOP wins. The economy responds with positive results and unheard of growth after making the EPA helpless, pulling out of G20, stopping NAFTA, reducing the Eductaion budget, taking money out of NATO, selling drilling leases on both coasts, add on to that a $1Triollion deficit and so on. And the growth continues for 3, 4, 5 years even. Then it is found that the growth cannot be sustained any longer. All the stops have been pulled out already and there is nothing left to stimulate further. What happens next is recession. In fact, every recession (or depression) has been presided over by GOP Presidents starting with Calvin Coolidge in 1929. Under Obama we had a solid 2-3% conservative growth which lasted at least 9 years with no recessions and unemployment decreasing from 10.9% to 4.5%. Nice. I would also like to observe that seniors did not get even ten cents out of Trump's tax breaks while the government policies are increasing inflation burning the candle at both ends. Let's look into the tariffs for a moment. Can anybody say for sure that after these tariffs fatten up the Treasury, that the plan is for Mr. Trump to give himself another nice tax break. Knowing his record of truth telling, I would not put that past him at all. Look, Canada had a serious tariff on American dairy products of 275%. If you further into this you will find that Canada sold to the USA $160M worth of dairy products and the USA sold to Canada $475M of dairy products. The Canadian tariff did not do anything bad to the USA and it was the only tariff they had. So why the steel and aluminum tariff? Go figure.

Yep, Trump threw all the wood on the campfire. It will burn out. President Obama gave us sustainable growth.

A vacuum of special pleading is all you have. Financing government is simple Income Redistribution.
Repeating an ignorant statement doesn’t make that statement any less ignorant. Allowing me to keep what was already mine isn’t “redistributing”. In fact, that would be the polar opposite of “redistributing”.

It's nice to see even PBS acknowledging that conservatism results in the ultimate prosperity. Especially when talking to an ignorant socialist.
You know, the benefit of capitalism is that you engage in voluntary trade and because it creates value, it is the system that, unlike all the others has lifted more people out of poverty over the course of human history than any other system.
After 2 years of complete failure under progressive control and a steady rise of prosperity under conservative control, more and more people are starting to wake up and simply acknowledge reality.

We are all now dumber for what Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has to say
/——-/ Our biggest problem is that conservatives get complacent and assume Americans understand why things are so good. Each year another crop of clueless teens turn 18 and can vote. If all they have known is prosperity then they can be suckered in by progressives waiting in the wings. It’s said for a conservative to be elected things have to be real bad. For a liberal to be elected things have to be really good.

Except that that didn’t occur “under Obama”. Under Obama and the Dumbocrats we had 10.9% unemployment (as you stated). Then the American people turned to the Republicans coast-to-coast in the 2010 midterm elections. Under the policies (especially at the state and local level), the U.S. started to see growth.

Thanks to MaObama’s highly illegal unconstitutional actions (where he created, altered, and eliminated legislation with Executive Orders), he became the first President in U.S. history to never have a single year of 4% GDP growth. Trying to act like that is somehow a “positive” is a bit absurd.

Now, this may not exactly be breaking news, but some 29 years ago, musician Frank Zappa managed a bit of prophecy when he predicted that our nation was moving towards a fascist theocracy.
Well, clearly Zappa saw the Dumbocrats coming. They have continually marched steadily to the left. It’s not hard to predict where that will end (totalitarian fascism) if one is familiar with history.

Your understanding is flawed. Congress is delegated the Power, not the privilege or right, to Tax.

It is Not Your Money, if we have any problems in our Republic.

Any more Problems, right wingers?

Snowflake, if it isn’t my money, why does the government’s own records show that it was taken from me? Why does the government have to take it at the barrel of a gun? And why does the government give it back to me (in the form of a “refund”) when they take too much? Oops.

By the way snowflake, the government only has the “power” (as you say) to tax for their 18 enumerated powers. Social Security is not one of those powers. Medicare is not one of those powers. Welfare is not one of those powers. Medicaid is not one of those powers. SNAP is not one of those powers. Obamacare is not one of those powers. Please do the board a favor and do not return until you’ve actually read the U.S. Constitution in its entirety.

It belongs to the People, if Congress needs the money to pay for right wing, insecurities.

You sure act like a snowflake. All those legally passed laws are part of the laws of the land.

My money doesn’t “belong to the people”, snowflake. :lmao:

Communist, much?
lol. Nobody takes the right wing seriously about the law, Constitutional or otherwise.

Socialism starts with our federal Constitution, in our Case.

Congress has the Power, not the privilege or right to Tax.

And what is "taxing", snowflake?
a compulsory contribution to state revenue, levied by the government on workers' income and business profits or added to the cost of some goods, services, and transactions.
See the apostrophe there, snowflake? In that case - it is used to show possession. The income belongs to the person earning. Notice how it does not state that the money belongs to "the people" or the government as you have ignorantly stated over and over and over (out of your desperation to mooch off of society)?

Listen - you can't even get basic terms right. Why don't you go play with your toys and let the adults talk now? You can come back in about 10 to 15 years when you're an adult. Mmm-k?

Old fashion squares. Out with the old ideas and the past. Time to embrace liberalism. New morals, new ideas, radical changes in the way we see the world.

Socialism starts with our federal Constitution, in our Case.
Please show me a single instance in the U.S. Constitution where socialism is mentioned. I'll wait.
Socialism is the abstract Concept; like a war on crime, drugs, and terror; y'all on the right wing, should be able to comprehend it.

Our socialism and Mixed-market economy starts with our federal Constitution and supreme, social law of the land.

Appropriating private property for the good of the whole. Eminent domain would usually apply.

And there you have it, folks. The most perfect comment to illustrate the lunacy of liberalism.

Morals are morals. They are as old as time and they cannot be changed or “new”. For instance, it is immoral to cheat on your wife. One cannot say “it’s time to embrace the ‘new moral’ of adultery” because there is nothing “moral” about it.

We’re talking about taxation right now - not “eminent domain”. You can’t even get the most basic terms right. Go play with your toys. The adults are trying to have a conversation.
