Even if you agree with the ideology of the station you are partial to, do you still trust everything these pundits say?

Fox News gives me nausea it's so biased. 24/7 propaganda

MSNBC is nuch less biased. I only think their primetime is of any liberal pushing. However, I often do feel frustrated that they do not discuss Obama's shortcomings like they should. I only think their primetime is of any bias.

Bottom line? CNN is the way to go. I don't care if it's a smidge liberal.

I enjoy watching Rachel occasionally, her election analysis is as good as it gets, otherwise, Meh. Cable news is brain poison.

LOL, CNN a smudge liberal..

it doesn't have the nickname COMMIE NEWS NETWORK for nothing..

I will now refer to them as the Globe magazine news network, they are now releasing records of 20 year old divorces and calling it news.

Not sure how you can compare Fox to any credible news organization. Fox sued for the right to lie because they said they are an "opinion" network and not a "news" network. It's not like this hasn't been reported and linked to a dozen times.

Hm. Well, I was completely unaware of that. Good to know. I suppose their slogan always throws me off...

What kind of moron trusts everything he/she hears?

Right! I remember trusting the man that made this rather dubious declaration:

"Let me be absolutely clear. Israel is a strong friend of Israel's. It will be a strong friend of Israel's under a McCain...administration. It will be a strong friend of Israel's under an Obama administration. So that policy is not going to change." --Amman, Jordan, July 22, 2008 :eusa_whistle:

Thanks for the Internet and search engines. Easy to find out the truth.

Yeah, you're right. Plenty of information goes over our heads....

Which Obama PROVED when the US was the only country that stood up for Israel. Thanks for reminding me. Almost forgot. Oh, and that was from an Israeli paper, NOT Fox Noise.

Fourteen frustrated members of the UN Security Council pointed a finger at the United States Tuesday for blocking any condemnation of Israel's accelerated settlement construction in Palestinian territory.

CNN got the nick name "Commie News Network" or "Clinton News Network" from Fox Fans, enough said.

Now to the OP, you know that Fox News and MSNBC are trusted by it's viewership, but those viewerships are on the decline and CNN is picking up the lost viewers.

Now the fact that both Fox News and MSNBC are losing viewers at this point of the news cycle as we approach the upcoming elections tell us alot. Typically biased news resources viewership increases as big elections grow nearer, but in this case Fox and MSNBC are losing viewers.

Poll after poll after poll tell us the the general public is really, really sick of the unworkable extreme partisanship in Washington. It seems the more people want bi-partisanship, the more partisan the Dems and GOP get. Talk about being really out-of-touch. And then we have two highly partisan news networks, more and more people just don't want to hear that crap.

CNN may lean slightly to the left but in comparison to Fox or MSNBC, CNN is a breath of fresh air as it is a far cry from the extreme partisanship of both Fox and MSNBC. Their right and left news analyst aren't to the extreme right or left that those on Fox and MSNBC news are, they are much more moderate in their leaning and on occasion are critical of the extreme element within their own ideology. Call them RINO or DINO, it's still good for a majority of Americans, who themselves are Independents/Moderates.

Real news and opinion is not hearing what fits your mindset, doing so eliminates the real world, which is a much broader environment than a narrow ideological viewpoint of the world.

I was brought up a Baptist and my family went to church around 3,251 times a week. I'm well aware of what "preaching to the choir" means and that is what Fox News and MSNBC are all about.

Fox didn't "sue" they used it as a defense in a suit and they didn't say "they" had the right to lie, they said the media in general does. And they didn't say they lied, it was the easiest defense. A tactic that's widely used by lawyers because it is the most effective way to win cases for their clients.

Of course the liberal media already knew about and had exercised their right to lie for decades...
