This is actually pretty dramatic on the congressional floor. He didn't listen and stood their stoically and kept asking for the rule to be read.

Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) on Friday took to the floor of the House of Representatives and tried to force his colleagues to listen to audio of wailing immigrant children who had been separated from their parents.

As Lieu took the floor, he brought up a large photo of immigrant children who had been taken from their parents and placed into a detention facility — and he proceeded to tear apart President Donald Trump’s immigration policies.

Kids cry all the time.

Didn't someone else come back with a report that the children weren't crying but were eerily quiet?

Didn't someone else just say that the children were drugged to keep them quiet?

The tape of crying children came from the capitol day care center when the keeper announced nap time.

So the democrats will not pass legislation to fix what they insist is the worst humanitarian crisis of our time and yet they continue to show and tell us just how awful it is? Our President refused to pull a DACA--which was constitutionally outside Obama's executive power in the first place--and follow the rule of law by placing responsibility on congress to fix this thing they compare to historical atrocity. The executive branch cannot legislate. That should be the story of the day.

Because there is no legislation needed. Sessions made it clear that this is a policy choice.

To bad thats a photo from 2014.

Brown kids with on the floor looking like tuna packs? I see no difference between that, 2014 and 2015 and the 2018 images? Do you?

Soborroff has been at the border for about 5 days now. He or his camera man, shot this surreptiously during a 'walk throw'.

I trust the Chronicle as far as I can throw them.
So you're saying the conditions are the same as when barry was in office?
Where was the outrage then?
