Media Ignore CBO Report Bashing Senate Stimulus Plan

The reports stated that not only will this bill not stimulate, and is "not a stimulus but a spending package" It finds that it will actually lead to a shrinking GDP, and rising Stagflation.

They also estimate the Real cost of this bill to be 3 Trillion, Calling the 787 Billion figure a fantasy.

Why is it everybody calls Congress and their offices useless until they do something that they agree with? :eusa_eh:

The report, as I read it, indicates that the positive effects of the Bill will be significant and the negative effects will be slight.

I would hardly call sacraficing the future for the sake of the present a 'slight' negative effect. And that, that is what will happen is fairly undeniable.
