What would the Founders do? Interesting, seems they'd side with President Obama.

'Congress Passes Socialized Medicine and Mandates Health Insurance - In 1798'

"In July of 1798, Congress passed – and President John Adams signed - “An Act for the Relief of Sick and Disabled Seamen.” The law authorized the creation of a government operated marine hospital service and mandated that privately employed sailors be required to purchase health care insurance.

Keep in mind that the 5th Congress did not really need to struggle over the intentions of the drafters of the Constitutions in creating this Act as many of its members were the drafters of the Constitution."

"What would the Founders do"? They created the greatest Document that the world had ever seen that the left deems obsolete. Now the left wants us to believe that the Founding Fathers would send out a little army of federal officers to confiscate money and property if citizens didn't purchase federal mandated insurance. By the way, the first thing the FF would probably do if they came back for a month or two is hang Harry Reid for treason but that's another story.
