Congratulations Scott Brown and Republicans on USMB

That's Senator Scott Brown to you. :clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2:

Anyone who stands against not the democrats but the virus of progressiveness within both parties gets my vote. We will see if Scott is one of them. I think he may be - I hope he is.

And, for the record.... he ran a straight, issues based campaign. It worked. It is time to stop the dirty polliticing in this country. Campaign on issues, not your opposition's family.

More support of my general premise. Conservatism is nothing more than a political philosophy that has at its core the desire to stop or impede progress. Fortunately, in America, progress almost always wins, eventually.

Conservatism, although some see as an ideology, does not have its core as the desire to impede progress. To the contrary, it opens the door to progress but without eliminating the certain values set forth by our founders that has allowed us to progress and become the strongest, most propserous and most generous nation in the world in a mere 300 years.

I find it interesting that you saw the progress we have acheived as being impeded and or stopped. Really? Can you name any other country that has gorwn to where we are in a mere 300 years? DO you not see this growth in stature and properity as progress? What do you call it? Accidental?
What some people call progress, others call catastrophic. Conservatives do not try to impede true progress in the proper direction. "Progressive" liberalism is nothing more than socialism...not something we should progress toward.

Congrats Scott Brown.

Exactly!
Great post California Girl!

I saw yesterday as not a win for the republicans, but more for a win for the freedom-loving, traditional valued Americans! Those who are sick and tired of the progressive, socialistic, liberal agenda ... sick of big government and out-of-control spending! And YES ... Obamacare!

Memo from the people of MA to Barack Obama:
[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rzmyw0-qh_M]YouTube - UP YOURS ******[/ame]

Your candidate won and ran the better campaign. I hope Scott Brown does what he promises, but I highly doubt it.

Tonight, you get to celebrate.

But just recall short history for a moment. How Democrats felt on here in 2008 after the Obama victory vs today. You may just very well feel that way by 2011. Let us see if Scott Brown will truly represent the true change he ran on or whether he is just another member of the establishment.

Agree. :clap2: Let's see how he makes a place for himself in the Senate....and how he serves the people of MA.

I remember it exactly,, after the Dems won the wh.. it went something like this,, "sit down and shut the fuck up, you lost, we won, do you know we won,, you are old white republican and insignificant, you are teabaggers, you suck,, sit down and shut the fuck up let the grownups lead" yes by god I remember it well..:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: oh and the best one of all I saved for last,, you ready for it... take a deep breath here it comes.

ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES

Perfectly delightful!

Again, was I the only one listening to the guy for the past couple weeks? And yes, I can guarantee as well that he's a member of the establishment. And the people who voted for him will see that fairly quickly.

I wonder if the Tea Partiers voted for him after he threw them under the bus?

independents carried him.

I understands that there is a HUGE % of Independents in MA....around 40% of all registered voters. That's a LOT.

actually, it's 52% and about 65% of that went to brown.

if every repub in the state had gone out and voted for him 3 times, he still would have lost without the indies. :D
