LBJ was an interesting politician. He really knew how to work the senate. I don't think he was shrill.

Not really. LBJ had a lot of common sense and he understood how Washington works and took his opportunities as they came.

LBJ was a crook and a very smart one, so I agree with you there. However, there were many similarities including 'spending like a drunken sailor' and 'escalating stupid wars'.

Echo, I've been watching Savanna Guthrie and Chuck Todd's new show. I recorded it this morning, it's on after Morning Joe.

They are really interviewing every guest, asking intelligent questions, interesting subjects. Much better than anything Fox has.
