I think what is lost on you is the ONLY court that counts for Cosby is the count of public opinion. I know this is hard for you to grasp.

He has spent the last 40 years building a brand. That brand is family friendly, traditional values, etc. That's his brand. (Discounting his early work, where he apparently thought slipping stuff into women's drinks was comedic material.) If most people think he's a rapist, that brand is done.

Public opinion was the only thing that really counted here. Impeachment is a political act. What you were asking the American people to do is ignore the results of two elections, we are going to set your vote aside.

Lying about a blow job wasn't a good enough reason to do that.
