First off your 53% number is from INCOME taxes ONLY, of which INCOME taxes only equal 1/4th of total taxes. 2nd the poorest 50% of Americans pay higher tax rates then billionaires and the supper rich.
Furthermore pretty much every function of government spends money more efficiently then the private sector; exmaples are SS, health care, education etcetc

The money went to the teachers retirement program and has done nothing to improve our Educational system.

And, I'm so stupid that I think spending more money automatically means people ware doing their job better. And, I really want a more effective SWAT response for stamping out raw milk and that doesn't come cheap.

Actually poverty when from around 50% of the population down to 12%; it wasn't unit Reagan who increased taxes on the poor and cut services for the poor that poverty began to expand. And Good grief you just don't understand anything mostly becuse oyu have an IQ of 66
