Came across this video, strangely enough while searching music. Thought it would be useful in this forum.

No comment, just watch the report, see what you think.

ABC snooz.....ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Actually it's a police investigator, a firearms instructor and the Bethlehem Police Department, but close enough for some apparently.

It's so special that some can sleep through the sound of gunshots. Jaded I guess.

I remember many years ago, Gov. Parris Glendening of Maryland vetoed a bill that would have allowed gun safety classes to be added to local high school curriculum. Maybe what we need to do is instead mandate it be added to the curriculum.

Pretty sure I saw this when it came out. Wasn't it some bs about how people allegedly don't react fast enough even if they have a gun? Yea, BS. You have a population armed and people will know they're gonna get popped and won't be able to do these sprees.

Interesting video, not too realistic, it was obvious the shooter knew which student was armed and went for them. They also had the students carrying their guns in one of the least desirable fashions there is, if your going to wear it on a belt it's better to wear it in front where you can use both hands, one to move the clothing and the other to get the gun. In the real world the shooter would be going through the same physiological changes as the targets in terms of racing heartbeat and high adrenalin levels, the average criminal won't be as accurate as a cop in a training situation. They are correct that you have to stay in practice on retrieval techniques and they change with every outfit you wear. That's all part of the responsibility of carrying a gun.

They said the gun did not help...but then they said running would be a better option...really? Not in that situation. He was in the middle of the front row!!! What else could he have done? He would have had to run at the shooter to leave the room.

Let's do the same experiment with no one having a gun in the room (see how many people get killed). Then do the same thing with everyone having a gun in the room.

Which one do you think would have the highest body count?

Let's ask Captain Obvious.

CO: "number two".

Thanks Cap'm.

Shit journalism.

Agreed.
The experiment that the police did was to show that everyone that carries a weapon needs on going training to be proficient. I never once heard them say it would be better off if a average citizen never carried a weapon.

But the journalist twisted the experiment to make people believe that only well trained cops should own weapons and that it is more dangerous for us to carry our own.

Crap journalism....

This is pre 911 thinking. Just let then do what they want and lives will be saved.

"Why"??
Because it's a room full of people with guns, that's why.

Reminds me of a joke, although it's better spoken than read:
Q Why does Michael Jackson like twenty eight year olds?
A Because there's twenty of them.

If more guns mean more deaths...then mine are defective.
