Compensation.

rgs likes to claim that he is a 100% disabled veteran and enjoys the appropriate pension associated with that rating decision by the Veterans Administration. 100% disability means incapable of any meaningful work in my book and in the overview of the Social Security Administration. He clearly demonstrates he is capable of substantial work.

He is either a hypocrit or a liar.

Is fair and comparative compensation just a joke?

Nice to know your now a qualified doctor able to discern medical conditions from reading fragmentary information on an Internet Board. All with no medical information and no medical records. You should apply to the Government as Head Inspector of all medical records. You could just have people send you a couple lines of irrelevant text and divine their medical condition from that.

Lets be precise. I am rated permanently 70 percent disabled, a rating that changed from 10 to eventually 70 percent over 5 years, based on my medical condition substantiated by medical professionals and hospital time and supported by the initial findings of the Marine and Navy Medical retirement system. I am paid at the 100 percent rate because the VA also believes that I am unemployable based on those conditions and medical evidence provided by all my doctors and specialists, reinforced by my Hospital visits and my work history.

Further the VA follows up at intervals with reevaluations on the 100 percent ruling.

At the same time the Social Security Administration ruled I am disabled also. They made this ruling on the first submission of a request by myself and my Doctors based again on extensive medical histories and Hospital visits over a 5 year period. I do not know exactly what my Doctors wrote in the request but generally it takes 3 or 4 requests and hiring Attorneys for people to get such rulings from the Social Security Administration. The SS also conducts periodic reviews of that status where I am required to see THEIR doctor or doctors to be continued as listed disabled.

It took my Doctors 3 years to convince me to apply to Social Security and I only finally did it when I was unable to work due to my conditions.

But do keep playing and remind us all of your ability to determine medical conditions from postings on an Internet board.

You told me that you were rated 100% disabled and drawing a 100% desabled pension, rsg. I can quote it and link it exactly if you like.

My civilian doctors have counseled me for years to approach the VA with their findings but I believe that as long as I can work, make a living and even invest for a retirement of my own that it would be dishonest to intimate otherwise. I remain a 0% disabled Veteran and a 100% American willing to help the society in which I live, especially it's Veterans, as best I can.

You indicate you have no problem with false intimation.

I am 100 percent disabled according to the VA and Social Security, moron. What part of that do you fail to understand? And as I indicated I made no such request until I was unable to work anymore. But do just ignore the facts, it makes your rants so much more informed.

For the slow, The VA considers me 100 percent disabled, that is why they PAY me at that rate. The specific ruling is permanent 70 percent and currently 100 percent, which can change if they decide my conditions change.

Even after I was no longer able to work my doctors had to convince me to file paper work for social security and they sent the information to the VA also. But do rant on your ignorance is fun to watch.

Then what is this about?

"Lets be precise. I am rated permanently 70 percent disabled," Your quote.

Obviously you are not 100% disabled by any definition other than one that you convinced an unpretending party of VA Officers to respect. You are a fraud, rgs. You probably always have been.

I suggest your ignorance is not terminal, perhaps you could learn reality someday.

You got the game, idiot.

I kicked your lying ass and now you want to get all pitiful on me?

You have yet to provide any evidence I lied about anything. You can not even support your claim I have ask for you to be banned or that if I were a mod I would do so. Your either delusional or ignorant, possibly both.

I would have had a hard time believing that states are actually approving "clean hands" statues. I wouldn't have believed it if someone had simply told me... that's actually a pretty sick standard if you ask me. Thanks for exposing this to us RSG.

Some call it a talent and others call it a skill.

I called your lying ass out and you can't respond. Dig that?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Off topic, but a question for Psychoblues, WHY, when I visit ANY thread that you post on, do I find a flaming war in progress?

You seem to be a VERY intelligent poster, and somehow get caught up in these shit throwing wars.

Just curious.............:eusa_think:

It shouldn't matter what happened in any case prior. The requirment of a clean hands provision is absurd.

In a civil lawsuit it DOES matter. Part of your damages is the extent to which you were emotionally shaken by prison. Someone who's done a stretch at Sing Sing is not as shaken as an accountant who hasn't. It's also harder to get choked up about about career cons who did mistaken time. We want to avoid it, of course... for me it's a different matter, though, for a clearly law-abiding citizen.

Normally I'd support compensation for the wrongly convicted, and it principle, I do. It's just that in this effed-up society, the facts are always more complicated than the liberals would have us believe.

That isn't the doctrine of unclean hands. That's arguablly an aspect of the measure of damages. Unclean hands would mean that if the person had committed ANY crime, recourse for having been unlawfully prisoned would be unavailable to them.

Why do you think someone who committed criminal acts in the past, but tried to do the right thing thereafter would be any less traumatized than someone who had never committed a criminal act?
