Socialism abolishes profit and all other unearned income? Hmm. I thought that if individuals take the money they have and purchase property (their personal money, spent by them), pay for the building permits (their money spent by them), pay for companies to construct facilities for the product they've come up with), pay for the insurance to cover their investment, possible damages and legal issues), pay for the materials for production, manage the business and pay people to say, stuff a screw into a product on an assembly line, it is the owners that have taken all the risk and thus have a right to the profits from their investment.
If one looks at nations that have taken away private enterprise and the opportunity for people to succeed, move up and live in their own residences, they've taken away "incentives" and you end up with two classes, the poor and their overlords in the government. Nations such as China, and North Korea are continually trying to steal advanced technology from the west, reason.....no significant incentives for their people. People in Hong Kong are rioting for freedom from their Leninist/Marxist overlords.
As for the idiotic cartoon, this nation in the twentieth and now, twenty-first century, has had services that provide for the disabled as well as those with significant health issues.
This nation has brought up more people out of poverty than any other nation on the planet. Millions of people have fled Leninist/Marxist nations, as well as despotic dictatorships to come here, seeking the right to be free without an oppressive government telling them what to do.
