This isn't exactly news, and as Martin's show noted that as the civil rights movement evolved into a Christian movement, the one time communist dalliers died, moved away from the party (as did a whole lot of whites in professional employment once FDR was elected and the govt began to be responsive) or were rejected by the black preachers.
