The middle class is being priced out. The state has had a net loss of 1,000,000 residents over the past decade, mostly due to the cost of housing. This will only accelerate it.

Democrats talk a good game about helping the poor, but when you look at what they actually do they cater to special interest groups first and foremost and hurt the poor as a result. They've been turning the state into a banana republic for a long time.

Regulatory policies are enacted by elected officials reflecting the will of the majority of the people.

If the people object to a given policy, they are at liberty to petition the government to change that policy, or to otherwise remove from office those elected officials who enacted the policy.

Battery technology/price has not made that a viable option as of yet. In another 2-3 years it should change. Edison, in Southern Calif, has discontinued the program of buying any excess electricity from consumers. The new program is they'll take the excess electricity and return 30% of it to you if needed.
