I think if Kerry didn't win, it was at least a tie, which is in Kerry's favor since he holds the lead in the swing states he gained after the first debate.

Kerry's style was excellent. He faced the president many times during the debate to anger him, and it worked. After 15 minutes, Bush's body languaged changed considerably. He seemed to be enjoying the debate at first, but then he switched to a more angry and outspoken tone.

Bush did a good job of pointing to Kerry's record and trying to destroy it, he also was not repetitive like the first debate, two major improvements.
