Supreme Court ruled way back in 1943 during the middle of WWII that students could not be compelled to stand for the pledge or National Anthem. Imagine, during the middle of WWII the country made it abundantly clear that the nation would stand behind the First Amendment, allow and protect citizens who remained seated. So, who is this teacher who has decided she is entitled to physically assault a child for enacting a protected constitutional legal activity and right?

Yeah we know this is no longer your America.
Women can vote, Black people no longer are lynched, you can't blatantly discriminate, housing covenants are no longer legal and people in authority aren't allowed to bully students without consequences...
