college allows you too...

Your first problem is that you think Republicans are anti-education. Not thinking that one person should be forced to fund college for someone else isn't the same as being anti education. I'm all for anyone that wants it getting an education as long as they pay for it. It's not my place to fulfill the responsibility that another kid's parent.

The second problem is that you assume having a degree automatically gives an opportunity. At least you aren't one of those that says if they go to college they'll get out, get a better paying job, and then be a taxpayer instead of someone living on welfare as if funding it automatically guarantees it. The lefties make it out as if it's a guarantee on return for what they call an investment. I've had a few question whether all investments I've made personally worked. To that I respond, no but the choice whether or not to invest was mine not theirs and if it didn't work, I had no one but myself to blame. With the concept of forcing taxpayers to "invest" in college for someone else's kid, we don't have a choice and when that investment fails, those demanding the money be invested are hard to find nor are they willing to accept blame for it being a bad one.

The first problem is that it doesn't matter dems or repubs are ruling the country, because in fact, we will see schools without budget or with 160$ annual budget.
School with 160 annual budget sees kindness from strangers
And we will see children deaths again and again, only because we spend billions on education, but without teachers we still have uneducated perverts!

Can you become a doctor without college?
Can you become a scientist without college?
Can you become an engineer without college?

I have a lot of bad things to say about the state of our college system, but it is generally good for our society.

You know how many self taught employees out there that were forced to go back to school due to the false perception that a degree was needed? Try every industry.

Scientists - Who the fuck cares to be one. They can't predict nature anyways. Fucking useless.
Doctors - Rare breed.
Engineer - cool

I'm not denying that all college degrees are non necessity, but the reality is most are. Also, when you go to college you will be working for "the man", another words you will be an employee. Are you happy with being someones subject or being controlled? No thank you. I'll be my future wifes bitch, but no one els's.

You need to seek help for that inferiority complex you've got going.

Although it would be 2 harsh too say that "college is a waste of time," much of it is a waste of time. A college degree is largely a tool for employers two weed out a large percentage of applicants without actually having tue assess their intelligence, knowledge, and capabilities.

Consider the following question: How long would it take for an intelligent person two learn EVERYTHING THEY WILL EVER NEED TOO KNOW in order 2 be a, say, dermatologist? A couple months? A year?

Many government agencies require a Masters in Social Work to get hired for their staff positions. Getting an MSW takes 5-6 years. How much of that time is wasted? 80%

If you were to ask 100 successful people how much of their formal education they actually employ to get their work done every day, the answer would be approximately zero.

A lot of speculation, but where is your data?

Bingo. College should be designed to get in and out as quickly as possible. It's not because it's a money making industry.
