Actually, one of the leading Israeli think tanks (name escapes me right now, but I'll think of it eventually) said at the time that this was the wrong way to go about fighting terrorism and deposing Saddam would only destabilize the middle east. And thinking Jews are a homogeneous group is a mistake in any event. There's an old saying that if you put two Jews in a room, you get three different opinions.
