CNN's Don Lemon now says Joe Wilson's comments means he's a racist.

Give me a break.....what the fuck is going on in the MSM and left wing cable news?

Don't ya know we are not allowed to criticize this President because he is black. The libs think that the office of President of the United States is and affirmative action position. The reason they voted for him and that the media didn't vet him was they had alot of white guilt. So they voted that way to make it up to all the black people out there, ignoring the Rev Wright controvery, Bill Ayers all his chicago cronies and now we all get to pay with the most radical president in history. He spends like he is on speed. Quadrupling the debt and running up more debt than ALL presidents combined since George Washington.

But the good news, people are snapping out of their Obama coma and paying attention. At first everyone was soooooooo enamored with the first black President that our congress and senate did not bother to read that massive 780 billion dollar no stimulus stimulus bill. You know that one that had to be passed yesterday so unemployment would not exceed 8%, it's at 9.7% now and going higher, guess that didn't work. Hmmmmmmm

I could tell you all day long about the socialistic plans this President has for our country, he has already nationalized our banks and car companies, now he's got his eyes set on another 6% of our economy, our health care system. I could go on and on and on, but then again I know I will be called a racist for doing so. But I don't care, so go ahead, I have no white guilt.

You'll get no argument frm me there Maple. I just don't understand how the left can bitch and moan about every single thing the Bush Administration did and then remain silent when Obama embraces it. When anyone criticizes Obama regardless of how trifling it is...they are branded a racist Nazi. It seems that's all the Democrats have to offer America.....racism....and I guess it's quite fitting as they and they alone are responsible for the formation of the Ku Klux Clan.

No one has made that claim. However, when you're going around calling anything he proposes "reparations", saying he has "deep seeded hatred of white people", calling him a "Kenyan" and a "black nationalist", yeah, that's pretty racist. You even dip into it in the rest of your post...

That could be brewed down to a single sentence: "He didn't really earn it, it was a handout, because no black man is qualified to be president".

Who was that white, anti black senator with a half white daughter? Can't remember his name. Wilson said when his daughter came forward, it smeared the senator's reputation. Why would he say that?

Actually in the case of Obama, he didn't earn it. Show me his qualifications that make him suited to be the POTUS.

Before getting into the obvious (the only qualification necessary is winning a majority in the Electoral College), he served in the Senate, was a professor of constitutional law at one of the top law schools in the nation, and did many years of community work.

Racism isn't a factor at all...

Where did he say BECAUSE Wilson criticized Obama he's a racist?

Or did he say there's a racial undercurrent to the "criticisms"?

And wasn't Wilson the guy who said Strom's illegitimate black daughter should have kept her mouth shut because it made Strom look bad?

or did Wilson just go "ape"? *rolls eyes*

and for the record, the only ones here I see saying it's racist to criticize the president are the people criticizing him.

This is on CNN right now...his talk show. At least here in Guam on AFRTS.

Since Guam is already into tomorrow, I guess we will have to wait for this news, LOL........

You are lucky! When I lived on Guam we got our TV news a week late because that was when the videotape arrived!

WHAT do you get when you combine the worst economic downturn since the Depression with the first black president? A surge of white racial resentment, loosely disguised as a populist revolt. An article on the Fox News Web site has put forth the theory that health reform is a stealth version of reparations for slavery: whites will foot the bill and, by some undisclosed mechanism, blacks will get all the care. President Obama, in such fantasies, is a dictator and, in one image circulated among the anti-tax, anti-health reform “tea parties,” he is depicted as a befeathered African witch doctor with little tusks coming out of his nostrils. When you’re going down, as the white middle class has been doing for several years now, it’s all too easy to imagine that it’s because someone else is climbing up over your back.

Very well said.

I watched MSNBC pull the race card right off the bat in an interview with two individuals on his LIAR comment.

It was so pathetic, I don't think anyone gives that accusation any credibility.

I wouldn't call it "racist" per se. In fact, I don't expect anyone to agree 100% of the time with any president. But I do think there is often an undercurrent that comes from race. For example, one poster here posted a picture of Obama as a shoeshine boy cleaning palin's shoes. I don't think there's a lot of question that's a racist image. So, when such a person then rants and raves about revolution and tea parties and socialism, one has to question where the vituperativeness came from...particularly when such people often, in the next breath, say, "where's all the change?!?!?!"

so, is the person angry that things are changing? or is he or she angry that things haven't changed?

not to mention the fact that the din started the day of the election...... one would have to wonder what he did on that day to make someone lose their ever lovin' mind... OTHER THAN .. the guy's color".

on the other hand, not ALL of it is racism, because there was always that 28% of deadenders... who did things like call Hillary Clinton "hittlery" and post pictures of HER with a Hitler mustache.

So... some of the volume probably has its roots in racism. Most of it proibably comes from the wingnuts who were going to go into meltdown if they lost, anyway... you know, people like RGS who as much as I think he's lost it, hasn't a racist bone in his body near as I've ever seen or PI whom I haven't seen anything racist from at all either. They just hate half the country and don't discriminate, as it were.

There is no way a southern republican is racist. No way.

I agree exspecially when everyone knows the democrats are the racist party. In Rev. Wayne Perryman's book he writes, "Democrats didn’t fall in love with black folks; they fell in love with the black vote", he aslo noted, for over 150 years, blacks were victims of terrorist attacks by the Democrats and their Klan supporters, including lynching, beating, rapes and mutilations.

By 2003, the Democratic Party had elected white women and white men as U.S. Senators (for their party), but never a black man. The Republican had elected three.

We see it almost everyday and especially in the media, blacks continually shunning Republicans, yet historically the GOP has been much kinder to blacks.

The Democrats

Our nation's top historians reveal that the Democratic Party gave us the Ku Klux Klan, Black Codes, Jim Crow Laws and other repressive legislation which resulted in the multitude of murders, lynchings, mutilations, and intimidations (of thousands of black and white Republicans). On the issue of slavery: historians say the Democrats gave their lives to expand it, the Republicans gave their lives to ban it.

The Republicans

Regarding the Republican Party, historians report that while Democrats were busy passing laws to hurt blacks, Republicans devoted their time to passing laws to help blacks. Republicans were primarily responsible for the following Civil Rights legislation:

1. The Emancipation Proclamation
2. The 13th Amendment
3. The 14th Amendment
4. The 15th Amendment
5. The Reconstruction Act of 1867
6. The Civil Rights of 1866
7. The Enforcement Act of 1870
8. The Forced Act of 1871
9. The Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871
10. The Civil Rights Act of 1875
11. The Freeman Bureau
12. The Civil Rights Act of 1957
13. The Civil Rights Act of 1960
14. The United State Civil Rights Commission

And gave strong bi-partisan support and sponsorship for the following legislation

15. The Civil Rights Act of 1964
17. The Voting Rights Act of 1965
18. The 1968 Civil Rights Acts
19. The Equal Opportunity Act of 1972
20. Goals and Timetables for Affirmative Action Programs
21. Comprehensive Employment Training Act of 1973
22. Voting Rights Act of Amendment of 1982
23. Civil Rights Act of 1983
24. Federal Contract Compliance and Workforce Development Act of 1988

oh hon... those things would never get past the repubs now... same as Nixon would never be nominated by the repubs now and you'd call him a RINO just for establishing the EPA...forget about opening China or ending the Vietnam War.

and the southern dems belong to you now...

thank you for that.

Notice there's nothing in the last 20 years... Lee Atwater's legacy as passed on through Karl Rove.
