Cnn

You almost got it right yes CNN made a mistake no they did not apologize.
QUOTE]

Nope, nothing right about it. That was as deliberate as the day is long. I saw that interview and the guy stuttered big time to get to the portion of the sentence that he wanted to present from the article he was reading.

He was going for the Katie Couric moment.

:clap2:

<snipped>.

2. mdgirl7 and NObama are right wing neocons so their opinion is irrelevent...
uh, sorry, no such critter could exist

Would anyone take their car to a repairman know as a dummy?

Would you want a dummy repairing your computer?

Would you take advice from a dummy?

no no no

But having a VP who is a certified dummy is Ok? Yikes, as my teacher friends say all the time, students get dumber every year here in America. I guess I don't need proof any longer.

YouTube - Obama fumbles his words like an idiot.

Tell ya what......all you idiots shouting (and yes, all of you that think CNN was mean to Palin ARE idiots), if you will make FAUX News apologize to Obama for their comments about his "terrorist fist bump" as well as apologize for calling him Osama, and saying that he's a Muslim, THEN, and only then, will I consider calling for CNN to apologize.

Oh yeah........for those lobotomized morons that say Glenn Beck is the only good show on CNN......guess what......you're far behind the times, because CNN took Beck's show off the air (one of their better moves IMHO) and Beck is now on FAUX.

no, you who think those tv reporters were mean to Joe Biden are idiots
because you dont think the crap CNN and Couric and Gibson did the exact same thing to Palin

please tell us who are the brilliant ones we have in office now?

545 People
By Charlie Reese --

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.
Have you ever wondered why, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, we have deficits?
Have you ever wondered why, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, we have inflation and high taxes?
You and I don't propose a federal budget. The president does.
You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.
You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.
You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.
You and I don't control monetary policy, The Federal Reserve Bank does.
One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president and nine Supreme Court justices - 545 human beings out of the 300 million - are directly, legally, morally and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.
I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress.
In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered but private central bank.
I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority.
They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman or a president to do one cotton-picking thing.
I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.
Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.
What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall.
No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits.
The president can only propose a budget.
He cannot force the Congress to accept it.
The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes.
Who is the speaker of the House?
She is the leader of the majority party.
She and fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want.
If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.
It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million can not replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts - of incompetence and irresponsibility.
I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people.
When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what t hey want to exist.
If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.
If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red.
If the Marines are in IRAQ , it's because they want them in IRAQ .
If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.
There are no unsolvable government problems.
Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power.
Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like 'the economy,' 'inflation' or 'politics' that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.
Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.
They, and they alone, have the power.
They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses - provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees.
We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!

Bravo very well put and I agree with you 100%

I think we should all boycott CNN until they apologize to Sarah Palin for that little stunt they pulled. I refuse to support a supposed news show that intentionally tells a blatant lie and refuses to man up own it and apologize.

I think this can be a issue that the Reps and the Dems can come together on. We cannot afford to tolerate our news media put on such a charade or we might as well read the enquirer for our information it will just about be on the same level.

Shame shame on CNN apologize or suffer the consequences.

What did cnn say?

I'm so glen beck is going to fox where he belongs.

You need to know that a privately owned newpaper and probably tv/radio too can lie. The courts ruled they are just reporting what they heard.

This has allowed them to get away with saying whatever they want.

Bill clinton should have never signed the gop deregulations act in 97. That allowed fewer people to own all the media.

You may not believe this cause everyone thinks the media is liberal, but it isn't anymore.

So for the last few yrs, most of the news was conservative. If not, moderate. Dobbs, beck, every show on fox,

Finally msnbc has rachel maddow, not just olbermann.

The people that hire rush, clearchannel, know of liberals that would be more popular than rush, but they won't syndicate her.

So Air America and nova m radio are owned by libs. Air america is owned by hillary libs. The good old boys network in the dem party. Yes we have them too. They were pissed obama beat hillary.

Anyways, 8 yrs of dem bashing. You guys never wanted to boycott for us. I can't wait to hear what was said.

Ps. Larry king busted mccain. He said, doesn't our current system take from the have's to fund things like welfare? Isn't it a progressive tax? Isn't that socialism?

Mccain tried to say its different, but ultimately larry was right.

The gop are just trying to fool people. Why shoulld we care the rich have to pay a little more in taxes when they doubled the debt?

We couldn't argue if bush was fiscally responsible. But he wasn't.

And mcain against the dem congress will not spend a lot, but we won't fix what's wrong either.

Imagine 4 yrs of mccain asking for more money for iraq and if the dems don't give it, he'll say we aren't supporting the troops.

I could list 100 more reasons why a middle class person is screwing themselves by voting for mccain. Unless of course you benefitted from the last 8 yrs. But that would be a very small percentage of people.

Speaking for myself but I doubt I am alone on this one. This election has generated more enthusiasm then any election I have seen in some years. I am sure I have not paid as much attention to the news in past elections. So I can not honestly say I have not heard any news media being slanderous in the past elections. But I am sure they have. Not saying they have not I am just saying it has never caught my attention in the past. I do not support any news media making up anything about the Rep or the Dems. I think if they want the title of new media then act like news media not tabloids.

Maybe we should just boycott all the news media if they are just going to act like tabloids.

Honestly I do not think Obama or McCain are going to be able to fix up our economy situation anytime soon. They both promise crap I just do not believe they can give us. We do not have any money period.

As for the rich paying more taxes they already pay the majority of the taxes now. Is it fair to punish the successful? Is it fair for the government to ask for more tax dollars when they screwed this up in the first place? Most of those guys have been office for so long they should have known better.

I am not so inclined to think I want to give them anymore money they obviously have no clue on how to balance a budget. No Bush is not alone on this one. Everyone likes to blame Bush for everything but he is not a dictator what he asks for is not always what he gets.

Obama started off talking about universal health care not so much anymore he knows we cannot support that finaically. Obama does want to cut our defense fund by 25% I disagree with that we are in a war and I really don't see him ending that anytime soon. Obama wants to reinforce Afghanistan. That is not going to be cheaper

I think Obama is a smart man but he lacks the experience and right now we just don't have the time for on the job training. Syria is pist at us I am sure they are not the only ones. Obama wants to have unconditional talks with them I disagree with that approach.

Obama supports late term abortion I do not.

McCain might not be perfect and he might be a Rep but the only thing Obama can really get him on is his age and comparing him to Bush.

John's record shows he has stood up to his own party. Obama does not show that in his record.

I am just afraid that Obama will go along with a majority Dem house with whatever they want. There has got to be a check and a balance. One party does not need to be in control.

That being said I know at the end of the day God is in control no matter who is in office.

Obama said 10 years to fix the economy at the minimum.......

Senator John McStupid said he could fix it in one term........

Who do YOU believe?

We won't know unless we let him try now will we. Do u know what they say about assume? You assume McCain cannot.

No, after watching him flip flop around and pander for the past 20 months, I'm pretty sure that if McStupid was in office, this country would be gone within 2 years.

Probably sold out to China. If McInsane wins, I'd suggest a night class in Mandarin.
