This article tells the truth and that this time mocking or dissing Palin is backfiring back in the faces of Obama and Democrat supporters and Palin critics in the media. Palin has a game plan and it's working to her advantage as she sets her self up for a possibe Presidential Contender.

Citizen Palin 4 President: CNN: Why Dissing Sarah Palin Won’t Work For Dems

Ruben Navarrette Jr., of CNN, wrote an interesting piece that all dems should heeded the warnings. Fortunately, like rats to a mousetrap with peanut butter Palin Derangement Syndrome is something liberals cannot resist: Why Dissing Sarah Palin Won’t Work For Dems
This much is certain: Palin should be really grateful -- for her critics, especially those in academia and the media.
Look what happened when Palin blasted President Obama during a speech at the recent Tea Party Convention by saying that -- in the war on terror -- Americans "need a commander-in-chief and not a professor of law."
Harvard Law Professor Charles Ogletree quickly fired back at Palin by playing the race card and complaining that the reference to Obama being likened to a professor came close to calling him "uppity."

Unbelievable. I bet you never thought of the word "professor" as a racial slur. You learn something every day. Someone should tell Ogletree: "That's not a good look."
Palin's critics can be oversensitive, dismissive and condescending, but they're also a blessing.
Every time they attack her, mock her or belittle her, she only gets more popular. Her fans get defensive and want to fight. And folks who weren't fans before get intrigued and want to find out what these powerful people in the media and the Democratic Party (if you'll forgive the redundancy) are so afraid of? [...]
Sarah Palin has it. She connects.

So here's a warning to the Democratic Party and other supporters of Barack Obama who love to criticize Palin. They can have their fun. But they do so at their peril. Whether they realize it or not, every time they attack her, they attack the kind of voter to whom she appeals.

These people aren't part of the elite establishment. They may have not have gone to Ivy League schools. They're just everyday folks who go to work and support families. They go to church. They love their country. They're the kind of people the Democratic Party used to represent. And, at the moment, they're enjoying a breath of fresh air blowing in from Alaska.

Meanwhile, the teabaggers are throwing this dimb bulb under the bus. you have to really so some serious self reflecting when the teabaggers dont like you and your a righty.

Dems need to run on the Pelosi/Reid/Obama record of success and focus on Palin at the same time.

Palin is the Dems biggest threat even in 2010.

They need to stop taking it so easy on her; they need to drum up charges, accusations, even make up stuff about her kids.

Even our Left Leaning Mods here are too nice to her.

CNN is giving you bad advise and it probably comes directly from Rove and Cheney.

Don't be gullible!! Don't let CNN think for you.

Palin also provides a meatshield for any other republican rival. She will get the most attention and either have that attention lift her to the presidency or provide cover fire for the republican canidate that does win. Its suicide for them to rip her and spend any time on her but if they 'cease fire' then she can go out their and speak without being attacked. She then can launch her own 'assult' on Obama without any counter fire.

Palin is in a win-win scenario.

The problem here is that when you comment on ANYTHING she says, it looks like she is being "dissed".

Had I been drinking milk, it would have come out my nose.

This is why she stomps. The vast majority of folks know that a special needs kid is someone to protect, and those who have the hurt of taking care of that kind of thing need respect.

People who engage in this kind of thing make themselves look like slime.

It is funny at first glance, but then you feel icky, and you want to come to the aid of the one who is the target of ick.

She wins either way.

She does not play to that level, but she fights for herself.

You have to admire someone who stands up for herself.

You can never admire anyone who makes fun of the weak.

I have little sympathy for a woman like Palin who uses her children constantly for political points.

Does she though? Most of what she does is "My kids are adorable. " which is pretty much a mom thing. And when they are stupid, she acknowledges stupid has consequences. But they are not props like Amy Carter was during the 80 debate. They are important people to her she keeps around her.

You don't want to attack her through her kids.

You can ask where she was when the eldest got pregnant. That is a valid question. But to make fun of the little one.... That is vicious without point.

Not attacking her kids, however she uses the kids as a shield. So if you attack her, she says you're attacking her kid. I'm not messing with you when I tell you that her thought process.

Bademus's Blog | Talking Points Memo | Sarah Palin Intentionally Used Daughter Piper to Sheild Her From Boos

When she was announced there were resounding boos from the crowd. Fox news (of all places) reports that at a fundraiser earlier in the day she said she knew there would be boos so she would bring Piper, her 7 year old daughter, with her to stifle them.

A carpet was laid down and Palin, dressed in a beige trench, walked on to the ice joined by her daughters Willow and Piper. The GOP Vice-Presidential nominee said at an earlier fundraiser that she would stop some of the booing from the rowdy Philadelphia fans by putting her seven year old daughter, Piper in a Flyers jersey. She said, “How dare they boo Piper!

She clearly shows she has no idea of Philly either. They're the place that booed Santa Claus for goodness sakes.
