Prove it. Prove that the left is dismayed by good news. Tell us specifically how the surge was mentioned in the video (talking about good news by itself and insinuating that it's due to the surge doesn't cut it).

I HAVE viewed the video. Once again, what I saw was a story about a provincial governor getting local leaders together to talk, and the decrease in violence locally was attributed to the actions of these leaders, NOT to the surge. Even one lt. colonel gave the locals credit for the decrease in violence.

Neither you nor the story explained how the surge factored into this.
