CNN poll showing Obama and incumbents in serious trouble!

Stop dreaming and sniff some reality. Obama isn't what most of Democrats voted for but he DOES have 3 more years to prove himself.

Here is the problem, Little Lefty.... he had a super majority, meaning he did not need any republican votes to get his bills past. Yet he failed to pass healthcare and blamed the republicans for that. Now, he's got mid term elections coming up and there is a strong possibility that he is going to lose a hefty chunk of seats. He'll be lucky to hold a majority at all. Therefore, his next three years are screwed. See how that works?

You got one thing right - he is not what most of the people who voted for him wanted. He won on an 'anyone but a Republican' vote. That was not a mandate to move the country towards socialism. Because the media didn't do any honest critical examination of his policies and the issues, most Americans did not really know who they were voting for. Now they do.

You hit the mail right on the head with this one Cali.

The Dems had a supermajority but were so busy fighting amongst themselves that they couldn't get anything passed. OL'BO's open and transparant Govt and no more earmarks all took a hike. As for bipartisanship and changing the way Govt works, wll that took a hike also. He is just another same old same old politician.

YOur also right about all those that voted for OL'BO. They were so sick of Bush and the Reps they would have voted for anyone. They totally discounted the fact that this guy has virtually no experience to be President. They let themselves be highjacked by that silver tongue.

Now that they can all see what his Hope and Change and Change You Can Believe In BS is all about. The folks are not happy. They don't like the direction he's trying to take this country. The guy is a fucking disaster.

Obama was unable to lead even his own party, let alone the country...

Still waiting for he and Dr. Dumbass to come up with even ONE significant accomplishment by our current Incompetent In Chief.

Regardless of your position for or against the bill, ARRA was a pretty significant legislative achievement.

Doesn't want tio hear it. I posted a list of accomplishments in other threads, but wicked troll just ignores it or claim none of them are accomplishments because he doesn't agree they will help anything. Getting your first SCOTUS nominee passed with little fight is also an accomplishment. Winning the nobel peace prize is an accomplishment. You can't blame the healthcare bill failure on him, he did all he could to push it. He can't force congress to vote for it, and at least has gotten both sides talking about the issue.

Oh brother

You know this country is in SERIOUS trouble when wasting $787 Billion of (borrowed) taxpayer money (new estimates are up around $850 for the final tally) as a "pretty significant legislative achievement" ......

Heck I can set $787 billion on fire and at least I'd get heat and light from it, what would that be considered in your book? the greatest achievement in the history of mankind?

Now that is something President Obama can point to as a success, well at least it was a success for the citizenry.

With respect to his progressive agenda, the less President Obama accomplishes, the more he achieves.

You claim its a waste with no evidence, as any effect will take time, plus the fact a lot of the money isn't even out yet. BUt you say so, that's all you need to consider your argument legtimate, eh?

I find it funny, people complain about partisanship in our gov't, and then when the dems don't display partisanship and just tote the party line, they are critciized. But not the repubs that hardly ever cross party lines.

10% unemployment, I'd call spending hundreds of billions of dollars to increase the unemployment rate a waste, how about you ?

As you say, the money isn't even out there yet. But do we recall that it had to be passed immediately...this week even.....And that this was the only way unemployment wouldn't go above 8%.... It's a scam from day one, and the Obamabots are still defending it.

Just look at where that money has gone. Unions and special ineterests.

It's a scam. No evidence of new jobs being created. And that's exactly what it was touted to be by Obama and the administration. An IMMEDIATE JOBS CREATOR. Unemployement wouldn't rise above 8%. They were adament about it.

And when we see that they are counting employees who simply were given "raises" as those whos jobs were "saved", it becomes quite clear that this president and administration are nothing more than one big clueless clusterfuck.

Why do we need another stimulus package lined with billions of dollars for job creation? Hmmmm?
