Part of the story. Rest at link about Trayvon's mother wanting gun control.

A photograph of a well-dressed black man holding a baby is reportedly of George Zimmerman's great-grandfather - and could become a crucial piece of evidence in his murder trial.

CNN aired the picture last night and if its authenticity can be verified then it supports what the accused murderer's family have been saying since the shooting took place - that Zimmerman is from a mixed-race family and did not kill Trayvon Martin because he was black.

The 28-year-old's family and legal team have repeatedly asserted that he killed the unarmed 17-year-old on February 26 out of self defense rather than because of his race

Zimmerman's family members have insisted for months that he is no racist.

Orlando attorney Mark NeJame appeared on CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight on Thursday with the photo and said it originated from someone in the family.

It shows a middle-aged black man in a shirt and tie with a baby on his lap and young woman standing behind him.

The baby is thought to be Zimmerman's mother, and the young woman his grandmother

The man is Zimmerman's great-grandfather, NeJame told the network, the baby is Zimmerman's mother and the young woman is his grandmother.

And this from the article:

Last month, an investigation by Reuters portrayed George Zimmerman as a trusted aid to most of his black neighbors in the gated community of Sanford, Florida that was plagued by a string of burglaries in the weeks leading up to the shooting of Trayvon Martin.

The 28-year-old insurance-fraud investigator comes from a deeply Catholic background and was raised in a racially integrated household.

"None of this matters. As long as they prove that Zimmerman said something bad about black person at some point in his life then he is guilty of a hate crime."

I don't care, all I need to know Is Zimmerman has a history of violence, Martin does not.
Show me a witness that says Martin attacked Zimmerman first.

When you view the situation through the prism of liberal self-loathing it becomes less puzzling that they would persist in calling a person of such obviously diverse racial and cultural heritage a "racist".

Either side of this story benefits the Obama administration.

Their strategy is to make race, in any analysis, prominent in the minds of minority voters.
Their only hope is a huge turnout in minorities, and wealthy suburbanites.
The Democrats have written off the white worker vote.

Are you referring to the ueber-educated, super-intelligent urban dwellers referred to lately in another post? Funny, their "education" comes across more like indoctrination, and it still puzzles that anyone claiming intelligence superior to a dog turd would vote for an absolutely, abysmally un-qualified liar-in-chief. OK, fool them once, shame on you, fool them twice, shame on them.

Show me a history of violence.

There is a clip from Facebook I believe where Martin was telling his cousin that he swung on his school bus driver in the preceding weeks before he lost his life. He also refered to himself as a "No limit Nigga" which is slang for a street fighter or Thug as they like to call it in The Hood. The information is out there for anyone who is interested enough to find it, are you?

I don't care, all I need to know Is Zimmerman has a history of violence, Martin does not.
Show me a witness that says Martin attacked Zimmerman first.

Show us one that says Zimmerman did.

Oh, that's right, you can't, because you don't care what really happened. All you need to know is that Martin looked black, and Zimmerman didn't, because you're a pig-stupid racist and bigot.

That's pretty much it.

Or tool as it's known in the suburbs.

What worries me is that if the only valid, acceptable legal defense is to produce a conveniently-black ancestor, what happens to a white person who has to defend himself against a minority attacker?

Jim Crow was bullshit the first time around; reverse-Jim Crow is just as much bullshit.
