Clinton's speech

Clinton's speech would fail logic class.

He says his economy was good because he worked with Republicans, but Obamination working against Republicans can't be blamed for his economy. Oh, trust him...staying on course will create different results in the next 4 years.

LOL. You lying fool. Pinch faced McConnell flat out stated that getting President Obama out of office was more important to the GOP than restoring the health of the nation. The GOP has practised nothing but obstructionism from the git-go with Obama.

President Obama's primary problem was that he tried to be concilitory to the GOP far too long. Now he has realized that the GOP is not going to work with him on anything, and he has started to play hardball. And the GOP is bawling about that like the wimps they are.

Dumbfuck....Obamination had control of the HoR and Senate where he got Obamacare, the Porkulus, etc jammed down our throats....and unemployment got worse.

You live in a hole to be clueless about Obamination's spending spree that made things worse.

Of course, you don't understand how all that bullshit helped give the GOP to HoR and the GOP in the Senate continues to fight Hairy Reid.

When President Obama took office we were losing 750,000 jobs a month. The market was headed straight down. The President took the neccessary steps to get the loss of jobs stopped, and get the market headed in a positive direction. However, given the absolute determination of the GOP to make the economy worse so as to replace the President this year, the fact that we are still headed in a positive direction is nothing short of miraculous.

Yes, we are far better off than we were four years ago. Unless we elect to office the same clowns that nearly gave us the Second Great Republican Depression, we will see continued improvement. If we elect a Democratic House, we will see a greatly improved economy.

You actually maybe right. What Clinton was saying is his first four years was absolutely great, Obama's sucked.

to heck with Clinton......he needs to back off and get out of the limelight that he thrieves on. Who cares what he says. He lies and does thing only for his own gains, not our grains.

Oh yeah, President Obama has been totally busy trying to clean up the mess that the GOP left. And all the while he is doing that, the GOP are trying to make the mess even bigger. So now they are stating that he hasn't cleaned up enough of their mess, so they deserve to be put back in office. Kind of like a drunk hitting a phone pole, and insisting that he be given another chance at hitting the phone pole.

LOL. Enough people care that many of the pundits, both right and left, are saying that this speech may have clinched the election for the President.

And what's with your grains:lol:

Clinton gave a brilliant speech. I didn't see it, but I'll take your word for it. How many people did see it? It's rating was 0.09%. More people watched So You Think You Can Dance than watched Clinton's speech.

What did Obamination do, dumbfuck?

The economy losses slowed on their own like most economic cycles once the bad home loans and banks were stabilized. Home loans put in place under the CRA and other liberal utopian ideas.

There are less people working today under Obamination than under Bush. The Porkulus package didn't keep unemployment under 8%, it got worse while blowing the national debt through the roof.

Let's see....Obamination is not allowing new oil drilling permits, even bragging about permits put in place under Bush as proof he supports oil drilling. That is a loss of jobs, especially in the Gulf of Mexico.

Obamination did invest in green energy scams like Solyndra where taxpayer money was stolen and given to his supporters. GM's bailout violated Federal law by stealing money from bond holders and giving the unions control of the company that isn't recovering today and won't pay back their loans.

Constant threats of raising corporate tax rates and personal income tax rates prevents investment in the economy, thus dragging out the recession. Obamination goes on TV whining that companies and rich people aren't helping out after he is the cause.

Nevermind the DoJ and EPA going after companies forcing them to downsize, shut down or leave this country. The attack on Gibson Guitars should be a prime example of you scum going after an American company over politics and costing jobs.

So go fuck yourself you piece of shit, you don't know what the fuck you are babbling about.

Idiots like you blame Bush for crap put in place by Democraps like mortgage industry crap.

Bush's people tried a handful of times to make the mortgage loans standards tougher but were fought by Democraps calling it racist. Of course, once it all blew up then scum like you blamed Bush.

The POTUS influences the economy with Federal spending, tax policy and regulation policy. Bush spent a lot of money, but Obamination spent even more so there goes that theory.

Obamination kept most of Bush's tax policy in place but continues to threaten to raise taxes. Constantly threatening to raise corporate and personal income taxes is a reason why the economy got WORSE under Obamination. People and companies don't invest when they fear their ROI will be less, dumbfuck.

Finally, we get to regulation policy. Obamination has gone after fossil fuel companies to drive up their costs which drive up costs to other companies and the consumers, uh not good for the economy. On the flip side you dumbfucks stole taxpayer money and gave it to Democrap supporters in the green energy scams to line their pockets which didn't help the economy and bloated the national debt even more.

So at the end of the day, your endless bullshit about how Bush left such a mess for Obamination when in fact many of the problems were caused by Democrap stuff going back to Clinton then adding on top of that Obamination's stupid policies making things worse....shows you need to be locked up in some rubber room for being a nutjob.

Basically Clinton wasn't able to muck it up during his term regardless of how hard he tried. But he definitely left a steaming bag of crap for Bush and now Obama.

Clinton/Gore balanced the budget, generated surpluses for fy 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000 amounting to about $400 billion. The surplus was used "off budget" to buy back an equal amount of public debt. The entire debt would have been paid off by now if Bush had not been elected...actually his brother and his concubine Katherine Harris stole the election in Florida.

From 106th Congress:

A. Purpose and Summary

The bill, H.R. 4601, the Debt Reduction Reconciliation Act
of 2000, provides for reconciliation pursuant to section 213(c)
of the concurrent resolution on the budget for fiscal year 2001
to reduce the public debt.
The purpose of H.R. 4601 is to reduce the debt held by the
public by the amount of any additional on-budget surplus in
fiscal year 2000. The bill would establish an off-budget
account in the U.S. Treasury, called the Public Debt Reduction
Payment Account. If the Congressional Budget Office's revised
estimate of the fiscal year 2000 on-budget surplus is higher
than specified in the fiscal year 2001 Congressional budget
resolution, the increased amount would be automatically
appropriated to the account, and the statutory debt limit would
be reduced by an equivalent amount. Funds in the account could
be used only to reduce the debt held by the public. The
reduction in the debt limit emphasizes Congress's intent to
reverse years of increasing debt and rising debt limits. The
bill would also require the Secretary of the Treasury and U.S.
Comptroller General of the United States to report to Congress
on how the funds were used to reduce the debt.

wrong....it was Gingrich and the Republicans winning the House in 1994....who balanced the budget...

Newt Gingrich and company -- for all their faults -- have received virtually no credit for balancing the budget. Yet today's surplus is, in part, a byproduct of the GOP's single-minded crusade to end 30 years of red ink. Arguably, Gingrich's finest hour as Speaker came in March 1995 when he rallied the entire Republican House caucus behind the idea of eliminating the deficit within seven years.

Skeptics said it could not be done in seven years. The GOP did it in four.

Now let us contrast this with the Clinton fiscal record. Recall that it was the Clinton White House that fought Republicans every inch of the way in balancing the budget in 1995. When Republicans proposed their own balanced-budget plan, the White House waged a shameless Mediscare campaign to torpedo the plan -- a campaign that the Washington Post slammed as "pure demagoguery." It was Bill Clinton who, during the big budget fight in 1995, had to submit not one, not two, but five budgets until he begrudgingly matched the GOP's balanced-budget plan. In fact, during the height of the budget wars in the summer of 1995, the Clinton administration admitted that "balancing the budget is not one of our top priorities."

WRONG!!!!!!!

Clinton immediately raised taxes on the wealthiest earners in 1993 and the Republicans screamed out, "Jobs Will Be Lost" The Apocolypse Is Coming" "Damn Clinton"

Bill Clinton did the best job of any president since Roosevelt with the Republicans trying to convict him of something and remove him from office the entire time. They even impeached him. I have news for you.....they couldn't do it. When Bill Cliinton left office in Jan 2001 he had an unprecedented approval rating in the 60's.

Well to your "points":

With NAFTA you are comparing apples and oranges. NAFTA moved manufacturing low skill low paying jobs out of the country. But Clinton's version of NAFTA included funding for the retraining those effected by the bill. This led to a great many people discovering technology and getting hired at better jobs with better salaries. Additionally imports and exports exploded which added shipping jobs to that expansion. The amount of people newly employed under the Clinton administration is record breaking.[/QUOTE]

So like GM having jeeps, dodges and many other of their models assembled in Mexico where they can pay the employees the equivalent of $9.00 an hour ? Or all of the little nik naks that are made in China by slaves for about $2.50 American ? And those low wage jobs you mention, you mean Taco Bell or McDonalds right ? Because I know several folks who had been at their company's for a long time two years off of retirement and got fucked by NAFTA. Companies tend NOT to hire old folks. So dont let your love for Clinton cloud your mind or delude you in any way. Crooks created NAFTA so they could get rich. That means the hero of the left, Bill Clinton, and the Bushes. They are all the same level of shit.
