I'll concede that independents are ultra-sensitive to gas prices (and the economy too). Will the mid-east cartels be kind to Obie?
But, if unemployment stays near or above 9%, Obama's job approval rating falls to 33% or lower with independents and stays there, and the Dems follow Greenberg's economic pitch advice, then the deal will be sealed, as 'Gumby' (and not the purple one) could get elected in 2012.
