It nearly brought a tear to my eye. When that ad came on, all the drunks I was watching the game with got quiet, even for a minute or two after the ad, the once loud room was quiet. It was just that good (nearly as good as the exciting SB game)! Hands down the best and most memorable SB commerical

its the elections season man, sorry, but my cynicism meter is ratcheted up to methamphetamine addiction paranoid level ...I saw it as a cleverly disguised political commercial...*shrugs* I know one thing, Obama's team will most certainly be watching the reaction to it, one way or another....they'd be fools not too.

I like Clint Wastwood... recently, when asked who he endorsed for President, he said he would "decide on a candidate in another month or two after 'listening to all that crap on television.'

One of my favorite interviews with Eastwood.

My favorite was the Chevy Silverado commercial that was obviously filmed in Detroit.

The commercial was an emotional appeal to patriotism - it hit all the right buttons in that department. Sadly however, there is no Detroit "recovery" .....Yes, the Auto companies are making money this year, thanks mostly to government largesse. The US taxpayers are taking a huge bath to prop up the union driven bailouts, and ultimately Chrysler and GM will cost over us over $40 BILLION. I find it very hard to call this a success, much as I wish it were.

The city of Detroit is a Democrat run fiasco that is a model for what "not to do". After decades of Democratic "leadership" they are teetering on the brink of bankruptcy. Detroit teeters on brink of bankruptcy despite autos comeback - Jan. 18, 2012

What part of it was most moving to you?

Was it that the commercial about Detroit that wasn't filmed in Detroit? Maybe it was the fact that a guy who spoke out against the bailout now supports it? Maybe it was the fact that it is a government funded corporate ad for Obama's reelection.

Advertisers never lie!! Everyone knows that. We have the government protecting us against lies from advertisers!!
