Classic - Democrats Get Played On Debt Ceiling

The Dems got toasted on this issue. Plain and simple. They tried to force Boehner's hand and it blew up in there faces. Silly Democrats.

Boner (The Crier-in-Chief) played a game. Pure and simple. This during a time of crisis.

:(

Do you need a tissue?

No thanks, but Boner (The Crier-in-Chief) may...

Then there is the non-Fox spin on the story

Oh that's rich! The linked mainstream media story makes NO mention of the letter from Democrats urging this vote to take place. Not a word! It only mentions "The White House initially argued for a "clean" vote". Why is clean in quotes? Hmm...

The ever so balanced article goes on to call the vote...you know the one demanded by 100 Democrats...a "political plot".

There you go, the liberal media bias at it's best. Of course, that doesn't make the Fox story any less spun to the right, but to suggest your link is unbiased is complete and utter bull.

It most certainly is a political ploy. You don't think politicians play politics?

Everything you hear out of Washington, from both sides, is a political ploy.

Wait until the Republicans propose their own debt ceiling bill, with a whole shitload of retarded amendments banning abortion and that sort of thing.

GOP plays politics=bad.
Dems play politics=good.

The Dems demanded something. The GOP complied (that's compromise and bipartisanship). The Dems ran away in droves.
The Democrats are the biggest fucking hypocrites to walk the planet. And this vote proves it, like any was necessary. Tim Geithner has been squaking for weeks that we need a "clean" vote. And in the end even the Dums couldn't support that.
The Democrats have been AWOL on the budget for years. They are not the party of fiscal responsibility. They are the party of spend and blame. They need to step aside and let the adults take care of things now.

A political ploy by whom is the question.

Liberals are so worked up that the Rs actually agreed to their demand. They even claim they were tricked. Was it that the Rs should have (announced on every media outlet) that the letter was probably not sincere, and therefore, there would be no vote?

It just makes no sense that somehow the Rs are the bad guys for taking a vote that the Ds pushed.

I can see how 2012 is going to be.

and the dopey OP keeps interchanging the terms 'liberal' and 'democrat'

liberals do not have a vote. only parties do

I don't know any moderate Democrats. They no longer exist.

So you're saying the liberals concocted this ploy by DEMANDING an increase in the debt ceiling without any cuts to in spending being THEY were the ones who initiated this entire cluster fuck?! LMAO Glad you agree.. " Be careful what you ask for." As I stated earlier, liberals are their own worst enemy.. when you virtually have no moral foundation and don't give a flying fuck about anything other than power, it eventually bites you in the ass.
