Strange I only found a "local newspaper" link to a story that should be in screaming headlines nationwide. Yes, I did look to see if anyone had started a thread on this but found none. Still, not impossible....so if there are multiples, please, moderators moderate and combine threads. Please do not bury this:

Florida county's Republican Party headquarters vandalized by gunfire

Florida county’s Republican Party headquarters vandalized by gunfire

SOUTH DAYTONA, Fla. — The windows of Volusia County’s Republican Party headquarters were found shot out Monday morning, and four bullet holes were discovered inside the offices.

Police were investigating shattered glass and fallen campaign posters that littered the sidewalk outside a strip mall near Reed Canal Park.

Inside, volunteers pointed to bullet holes in the walls and ceiling.

“We have never had any kind of vandalism before at a Republican Headquarters,” Tony Ledbetter, the chairman of Volusia County’s Republican Party, said in an email Monday morning. “It’s a small strip center and no other business was vandalized, so it was obviously politically motivated.”

South Daytona police Capt. Mark Cheatham said the shooting incident happened between 4 p.m. Sunday and Monday morning.

“At this point we can confirm that at least four rounds were fired into the building,” Cheatham said. “We are working to see if we can get video from nearby businesses, but so far we have no witnesses.”

The media is full on liberal democrat....they report only what hurts the GOP and Trump...
There have been numerous attacks on conservatives that goes unreported...even at FOX....

I saw a clip on TV in which Justice Sotomayor and Gorsuch were encouraging people to vote. In the clip, it was said that there is a correlation between incivility and the lack of knowledge of goverment and our political system.

One of the primary reasons our nation’s founders envisioned a vast public education system was to prepare youth to be active participants in our system of self-government. At one time there were as many three courses taught on the subject in schools. Beginning in the 1960's, civics classes began disappearing from the curriculum. Today, the results are less than 1/3 of our states require a single civics course. The subject is folded into American History. In some states, it is covered as part of a political science course that examines political systems throughout the world. No wonder only 26% of Americans can name all three branches of government and 35% can not name a single constitution right. And half the voters do not understand the electoral college.

So what does this have to do with civility? When people enter into a political discussion without a basic knowledge of our political system and duties, limits, and power of elected officials, false statements and exaggerations become the subject of discussions, not the real issues. For example there are dozens of political arguments going on about the right of the president to abolish birthright citizenship. This is just plain stupid and just creates more division and hatred.

Outrageous claims that are clearly unconstitutional, promises by candidates that go well beyond the duties and capabilities of the office being sought should be called out by both supporters and the opposition. A president or congressmen can not override the constitution. A congressmen can not guarantee anything to his constituents other than to support or fight against certain issues in congress. A candidate can get away with making outlandish promises he can't possibly keep in large part because the electorate know so little about what is possible under our system of government.

Someone once said the greatest danger to a democratic society is an uneducated electorate.

I think I posted it about a week ago. Not to much interest from the stains.

Which political ideology has been running the gubmint schools, dude?

"Vandalized by gunfire"? That's putting it mildly isn't it? How about a retro headline "democrat Watergate headquarters vandalized by break in".
