Do you ever wonder is they people down at the city planning office in your city are smoking tough when they decide how to plan a neighborhood?
They must have been getting some good shit when they started to plan my neighborhood back in the early 80's.

I live in a neighborhood that really only has two ways out of it for starters and few years ago they had forest fires on both sides. My neighborhood isn't the only one completly not planned for growth. I tried to take a short cut today and I had to some long ass way.
Then there is the fact we passed some bond a few years ago and every god damn article has had road contruction. It is nice when it is over but man driving in the summer is hell!

They are planning to make money--not make your city livable.

that is what I am guessing.
It is like they just close there eyes and draw the roads.
We are just now getting a north south freeway which has been needed for 20 years.
