So we should ban tobacco smoking? Add it to drug war?

Banning things is all the rage with today's Socialists/Progressives. Hopefully we can reverse this awful course they've put us on but i'm not too optimistic about that. Big Government is only getting bigger. And i just don't get why so many want that. It only goes against their own self-interests in the end. Their mentality is so bizarre.

Its the precedent of basing laws like this to either protect the dumber portion of the population from themselves, or protect a certain select group, usually "the children"

Some people ages 18-21 can't control themselves when using alcohol, so ALL people 18-21 shouldnt be able to drink. 25% of the population cannot sucessfully use a cell phone and drive at the same time, so EVERYONE shouldn't be able to do it. Some people are reckless assholes when driving with a .08 BAC so EVERYONE is DWI when thier blood alcohol reads above that level.

Oh that's definitely what the Socialist Nanny State is all about. They have that 'Throw the Baby out with the bath water' mentality. Everyone must suffer because of a few dumb asses. They're just so quick to take rights away from everyone these days. It really is Big Government oppression. We have to reverse this Big Government course we're on. Who knows what they'll want to ban next?
