On Meet the Press (AKA Meet the Trump Bashers), host Chuck Todd made an awkward effort to recruit GOP Never Trumpers. Talking to longtime RINO (Democrat in Republican clothes) Jeff Flake (R-AZ), Todd referred to Flake’s new book, and seemed to be joyous about how contrary it is to President Trump and his policies.
Flake, who lives up to his name every time he speaks, Opposes Trump on immigration, free trade, Muslim ban, and seems to have ideas that would cause him to be voted out of office, if he wasn’t in a state loaded with illegal alien voters.
One of the infamous “Gang of 8” from a few years ago, he is so contrary to the views and goals of Republican voters, that he even made a snarky remark against their chants of “Lock her up” from the 2016 Trump campaign rallies.Couple that with a shot from him against the idea of populism (Gosh, how odd of Trump to present the idea of actually representing the will of the people, huh ?)
So as national review, Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush, Flake and other anti-Trumpers divorce themselves from the PEOPLE of the Republican Party, maybe we’ll see a new movement among pathetically lost Democrats to hook up with the anti-Trump GOP Washington insiders.
LOL. I have to say Claifornia Governor Jerry Brown was on the show to add his name to Pelosi, Schumer, et al, who say their party has always been for “working people”. As usual, another Globalist Democrat who says that phrase without the word AMERICAN in front of it. Especially true of Brown, who would be nothing in California if not for his massive illegal alien vote. Yeah, Jerry all those workers of the world, who cherish you so heartily.
