Equally as scary is that notion that the UAW may own as much as 55% of Chrysler when they emerge from BK.

We used to call this a hostile takeover when negotiations between parties broke down and the pursuing party wanted to go forward. Now, apparently, we call it a "makeover".

US auto major Chrysler is staring at Chapter 11 bankruptcy with negotiations between its lenders and Treasury Department collapsing, reports the Wall Street Journal (WSJ).

A Chrysler bankruptcy can proceed through the court system in a matter of weeks, some White House officials were quoted as saying.
