Christie - 5,000 jobs in the hole

So, is this the "Republican way"? I posted a list of 114 Republican Senators and Congressmen who have publicly taken credit for "stimulus" jobs while saying the stimulus didn't lead to a single new job

States are required to pay for the Stimulus, so of course they should take the money. If someone steals your wallet with $100 and gives back $20, did he rob you? Yes. Should you insist he take the other $20? I'm thnking not. It's better to lose 20K jobs and gain 15K jobs then lose 20K jobs and gain 0K jobs. That doesn't change that net the so called stimulus was a job killer.

I thought government didn't create jobs. Isn't that rightwing doctrine? I guess that Jesus H. Christie has spoken,

so be it.

That's why the right wing is mystifying to me.

They seem to hate education, only 6% of scientists are Republican, yet, they insist they know how to "make it better" which includes "mystical creation", which of course, would make it worse. Not to mention their high drop out rate.

They hate government yet want to run it.

They complain about spending money, but explode the deficit every time they are in power.

They insist they follow a "peaceful Christ", but go on and on about bombing this country or that.

What they say they want and what they actually do are polar opposites. They want America strong, but weaken it worse than al Qaeda ever could.

apparently, you are easily mystified.

Easily explainable.... rdean actually believes the bullshit about 'republicans hating education, minorities, science, blah, blah, blah'. Really. He believes it. If he can believe that.... why is it so hard to see that even basic intelligence is way over his paygrade.

I guess Deany just can't stand the fact that Christie is doing a great job in NJ.

I'm sure he'll come up with some more bs to bitch about.

Just give it a hot minute. LOL

Regardless of the Soros inspired anti-Christie talking points issued to the left wing blogs every day, people see Christie as a breath of fresh air in a previously corrupt state. The left has both sides of the argument locked up (they think). If jobs are lost they blame republicans and if jobs are gained they credit the porkulus bill. The creation of government jobs and the redistribution of wealth does not stimulate the economy. Regardless of what neo-socialists believe, it is the private sector that creates jobs. Low taxes, fewer government regulations and cheaper energy is the secret to stimulating the economy and Obama has shown that he is against all three.

He's 5,000 jobs in the hole and is taking credit for a "tunnel project" started by someone else. Why can't Republicans come up with their OWN ideas. They always steal others. Maybe it has something to do with that darn "6%"?

All jobs are not equal. Government jobs have to be paid for by the private sector. Some are obviously necessary; others are not. And do you know how much a government job costs? Here's an article from 2009 that will give you some idea:

$646,214 Per Government Job | Alan Reynolds | Cato Institute: Commentary

When I see "information" from "conservative sources", I assume it's lies until I can prove otherwise. Conservatives are against everything that's important to me. Education, the middle class, a safe and clean country, individual liberty and freedom.

They say they are for some of these things, then you look at their stand on "women's rights" and "gay rights" and education, and the EPA and the middle class and I know our views are "polar opposites".

Are you gay or something?

Marriage is a religious union. If you are gay then you aren't religious so why do you want to be in a religious union? It boggles the mind.
