1 John 1: 6: If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not live according to the truth; 1 John 2: 4: He who says "I know him" but disobeys his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him; 1 John 3: 4: Every one who commits sin is guilty of lawlessness; sin is lawlessness. 6: No one who abides in him sins; no one who sins has either seen him or known him. 8: He who commits sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. Matthew 5: 19: Whoever then relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven, 20: For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 7 21: "Not every one who says to me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22: On that day many will say to me, `Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' 23: And then will I declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from me, you evildoers.' Isaiah 1 3: The ox knows its owner, and the ass its master's crib; but Israel does not know, my people does not understand." 4: Ah, sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, offspring of evildoers, sons who deal corruptly! They have forsaken the LORD, they have despised the Holy One of Israell, they are utterly estranged.
