"Christianity is a mob religion" is a view equal to any other.

So why do Christians get all mob like when confronted with opionions that look at their religion the way they look at other's religions? This is not a flame thread, only an opinion thread.

So why do Jews get all mob like when confronted with opinions that look at their religion the way they look at other's religions? This is not a flame reply, only an opinion reply.

So why do Catholics get all mob like when confronted with opinions that look at their religion the way they look at other's religions? This is not a flame reply, only an opinion reply.

So why do Pagans get all mob like when confronted with opinions that look at their religion the way they look at other's religions? This is not a flame reply, only an opinion reply.

Everyone gets offended (and mob like if there's enough of them around) when someone challenges a belief they hold dear.

It has been my experience that Jews do not get all bothered about what others have to say about their religion. (they do not proselitize or seek new recruits...they do not need to. They are the chosen ones. :eusa_whistle:)

go figure

What Christians have gotten all mobbed up and maybe we could answer your specific mobbed up situation with more clarity and in a nonmobbed up way? :D

ya, sorta true...though i guess i am having the problem with the word mob....

I mean, JB could be just as passionate as Allie, only on the opposite side of it...no? :)

And, William Joyce with his issues...

And Charlie Bass with his....

And Pale Rider with his issue on the birth certificate of obama.

I just view mob like, as many not really mobs of one and truly view these people mentioned above as just being extremely passionate and with strong views to say it politely, on their particular issue.

I don't see, Christians on the whole, as it seems Dev implied, being any more mob like than a number of other secular groups out there as you made mention to....

care

Christians here? Many of them have a persecution complex fueled by the country's movement toward secularism and nontheism. As others have pointed out, though, this isn't an exclusively Christian phenomenon. Sketch some more Muhammad cartoons and see how that goes over with Denmark's immigrant community.

The only mob religion is islam, bunch of insane radicals who just want to kill every non-muzzy and enslave all the women of the world.

Just like the jews

read their holy books- xtianity is the odd one out, because it's doesn't follow the same god that appears in the old testament- they do noty believe in El, the god of abraham

Lucifer returned in the form of Yeshua and used the name of God to appeal to the people, so that the world might be a better place

Jesus' teaching directly contradicted the prophets' words. He said to reach out to the gentiles, where the OT calls for unbelievers to be slain. He said to turn the other cheeks, whereas god had told moses and the prophets to let the punishment fit the crime. He spoke out against the divoce that God ordained and allowed.

Since god is perfect and so is His law, hiw law cannot be overturned or changed- a perfect god does not make mistakes. Lucifer rebelled against the evils of El/YHWH, and a third of the angels of heaven followed him. That is why Jews and christians demonize the angel who would have freed man of the tyrannical regime of a cruel and evil god. The easiest way to help the people of the region? Convince them that you're the messiah, come up with a way to change the law and convince them that it's okay (notice he had to assure them that he wasn't destroying the law), and put into effect better laws- laws that call for tolerance and peace

Teshua was either Lucifer or one of his trusted angels acting in his stead. This is the only reasonable conclusion that can be drawn, even using the corrupted books of those who worship the evil god of their religion

Unfortunately, nothing in the bible can be proven. Nothing about what jesus said can be attributed to him beyond a reasonable doubt. So all that shit about lucifer is made up.
