Christianity as Sessions understands it

Baby Jesus and his parents fled violence in their homeland and sought asylum in Egypt. Good thing it wasn't the United States.

I am a Christian. I follow the Christ. If anyone thinks they belong to a 'true' domination or 'the one way', then they are ignoring their Savior and His suffering and triumph. Poor souls.

Jake is the Torah of Christian teachings. I never understood what Jesus meant, but after reading Starkey, it's as clear as day

For someone terrified to identify the Jesus you worship you're pretty opinionated.
I've asked Fake Jake several times what church he attends or denomination he belongs to.

He has always dodged the question, and flat out refused to answer when pressed.

Every Christian that I know would gladly tell you all about their Church.

I wonder what Jake is trying to hide?? ... :dunno:
Pray without a desire to be seen

And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by men. Truly, I say to you, they have their reward. But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you. (Matthew 6:5-6)

Avatar4321 is out of step with his denomination on these matters, just saying.

Doc1 does not know Jesus and refuses to meet Him, even though he has received the witness of many.

JoeMoma's argument has been refuted elsehwere, so I will ignore it here from now on.

The scriptures teach us to obey the law.

But the bigger issue here is the assumption that these people are actually families.

We have plenty of legal means for families to immigrate to the United States. Come through any port of entry, either legally or by claiming asylum and there is would be no reason to suspect they aren’t families.

But we aren’t talking about that. We are talking about people who have children walking through the desert specifically to avoid law enforcement. And zero of them are coming from war torn countries that warrant asylum. (In fact recent studies have shown our hemisphere has rarely been as peaceful as it currently is)

So we know these people are trying to avoid authorities. That they are forcing children to walk through the desert. That they are deliberately avoiding the legal channels for residency. And that human traffickers frequently move children across the border in both directions to sell them as sex slaves and prostitutes. So why are we assuming that these are families or these children aren’t being smuggled?

If anything we should be separating the children from them until it can be determined that they are actually their family. Once that occurs we should ship them all back to their home country.

But let’s stop this dishonest emotional argument about the government splitting up families. Literally no one has a problem with this when we are sending murders to jail or when child protection service takes them from abusers. Splitting up children from adults until we determine they are indeed families and not human traffickers is just common sense here. Again it could easy be avoided by going through proper migration channels or a port of entry.

But If you really want to end this, build the wall and enforce the border to discourage the use of illegal channels and prevent human traffickers.

Of course if you want human trafficking and illegal immigration...

What violence are these people fleeing? We literally just had a report come out this weekend that this is one of the most peaceful periods in the history of the Western Hemisphere

"Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you". . . has always been counsel when confronted by such weak souls, even as SM who gave up Jesus for Allah.

Be care of the conservo-Catholics of the French style, the evangelicals, the fundamentalists, the Pentecostals, and others that mistake their belief for those of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

The pharisaical hypocrites of Christianity are the ones who need to be reminded that one of their myths is that evolution is about the origins of life: it is not.

One of their myths is that evolution is a salvation issue.

One of their myths is that God has been removed from the classroom: God has not.

One of their myths is that Jefferson, Adams, and Washington were religiously like the far right conservative Christians alive today.

One of their myths is that the first century Christians were religiously like the far right conservative Christians alive today.

What I am saying is, guys, work on your relationship with Jesus: lean on the Lord.
Jake, all did was ask you the name of the church that you attend.

Why is this soo difficult for you to answer?? ... :dunno:
You renounced your Lord and Savior, so your requests fall flat.

And we all know Jesus was crucified on the cross for not obeying the laws of the land

Jesus never broke the law of the land. He was put to death on trumped up charges.

Everyone knows that

Fake Jake, you conveniently left out the part where the Bible says baby Jesus and his family after a short stay in Egypt, packed up and returned back to their home.

Unlike the criminal border jumpers who illegally stay here for life. ....

You don't know that. Your Church has said specifically families should not be broken and has a reputation for supporting illegal immigrants. Support your Church.

SM, you are Muslim, so I accept nothing you say about Christians and Christianity and Our Lord and Savior. You have no standing. :)

The government is using the children as a political weapon. That is true.

Your church is troubled by it. As you should be.

Quit being a hypocrite, please.

You know, I'm still wondering why some people are letting Sessions and Trump off the hook for this. No, the Democrats have nothing to do with families being torn apart. This is all Sessions and Trump.

No body is "tearing" families apart.

They are adult illegals who forced children, who may or may not theirs, to commit a criminal act by crossing the border..

So the only logical thing to do is separate the adults from the children. And then work to find out if they really are the parents, or just kidnappers running a scam? ....

^^ Bullshit

Yes, Trump and his party are tearing families apart. Deliberately. To rev up the neo-fascist racialists of the far right for this fall's elections.
