Christian radicals vs. muslim radicals

The biggest difference between Muslim terrorist groups and Christian "terrorist groups," besides what's already been mentioned, is that 99.999999% of Christians immediately denounce the works of the latter, while almost no Muslims denounce the works of the former.

I just find it fascinating that DMP can sit there and categorically state that There are NO christian Terror networks who commit acts of terror in the name of Christ.

On the other hand, I believe that there are “Christian” terrorist organizations and I believe that there are “Islamic” terrorist organizations. I believe that there are a great many more Islamic terrorists and Islamic terrorist organizations than there are Christian terrorists and Christian terrorist organizations. I think that DMP is letting his anti-Islam and pro-Christian bias interfere with his acceptance of reality.

As the character Spock said to the character McCoy in the movie “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn” You must learn to govern your passions. They will be your undoing.

Matts, Star Trek is fiction.

I think dmp's point was that the 'Christian extremists' seldom act, when they do, they are condemned; something seriously missing on both sides of the equation from Muslim organizations. The reason the comparison is apples and oranges, except 'technically.' Take your tech win and ahem...

I think that the percentage you gave as 99.999999% of Christians immediately denounce the works of Christian terrorist groups is high. I would put the percentage at 95. I think that roughly 95% of self-professed Christians denounce such.

Also, I think that that it is incorrect to say that almost no Muslims denounce Islamic terrorism.

The first link, CAIR, it's practically a terrorist apoligia in and of itself.

Then he should have said so and left it at that. I think that people really lose their case when they spout off incorrect statement. Perhaps I am the only one who thinks that way.

I know.

Then again, you are the only one around that would say that they are moral equivalents or intimate that.

How would you know that I would say that? Have I ever said that? All that I am doing with respect to this thread is disputing the claim that there are NO Christian Terror networks that commit acts of terror in the name of Christ.

I'm not going to go round with you again. What dmp said, was fine. There are hate groups out there, that claim to be 'Chrisitan' yet Christians deplore, condemn, and cheer their prosecution. Probably most telling of all, they support the terrorists and the terrorists would be only too happy to use them.

Yeah. You are entitled to your opinion. I’m confident that you closed you eyes to all of the other links.

Well with that as your #1, yeah. Then again, I've followed your links long enough to know when to stop.
