Some articles suggested the Hutaree had not yet determined whom in law enforcement they would kill, or even that they wished to kill a law enforcement officer in order to begin a war with law enforcement, while not having any specific target.[17] The FBI was aided in its investigation by members of another militia group.[18]

Members taken into custody[edit]

In order as shown: Tina Mae Stone, Joshua Matthew Stone, David Brian Stone Sr., David Brian Stone Jr., Thomas William Piatek, Michael David Meeks, Kristopher T. Sickles, Joshua Clough, Jacob J. Ward
Nine members of the group that were arrested:[19][20]

  • Tina Mae Stone, 44
  • Joshua Matthew Stone, 21 (a.k.a. "Josh")
  • David Brian Stone Sr., 44, center (a.k.a. "RD", "Joe Stonewall", "Captain Hutaree")
  • David Brian Stone Jr., 19 (a.k.a. "Junior")
  • Thomas William Piatek, 46
  • Michael David Meeks, 40 (a.k.a. "Mikey" )
  • Kristopher T. Sickles, 27 (a.k.a. "Pale Horse")
  • Joshua Clough, 28 (a.k.a. "Azzurlin", "Az", "Mouse", "Jason Z", "Charles")
  • Jacob J. Ward, 33 (a.k.a. "Jake", "Nate")
On May 3, 2010, U.S. District Judge Victoria A. Roberts ordered all nine defendants to be released on bond, over the objection of Federal prosecutors. "The order is silent as to any financial aspects of the bonds. In federal court, defendants are normally released on $10,000 unsecured bonds, meaning they do not have to put up any money." The court ruled that five of the Hutaree remain in custody. The ruling applies to David Stone, Sr., Joshua Stone, Joshua Clough, Michael Meeks and Thomas Piatek. Four other members have already been released on bond. The court ordered that they be placed on electronic monitors.

Hutaree /huːˈtɑːriː/ ( listen) is a militia movement group adhering to the ideology of the Christian Patriot movement, based near Adrian, Michigan, in the United States.[1] The group formed in early 2006. The name "Hutaree" appears to be a neologism; the group's web site says that the name means "Christian warriors".[2] The group became widely known in 2010 after the United States FBI prosecuted them in federal court for an alleged plan for violent revolt. The prosecution said they intended to kill a police officer and to attack the funeral with bombs. The presiding judge dismissed these charges. Three members pleaded guilty to possessing a machine gun and were sentenced to time served.[3]

In the future, I suggest you read you own fucking links, that way you don't come across and a complete and utter moron that is CLEARLY calling for violence against innocent people.

Hutaree Militia Raided by FBI
Nine members of a Michigan Christian militia group, Hutaree, including group leader David Brian Stone, were charged March 29 with seditious conspiracy, possessing a firearm during a crime of violence, teaching the use of explosives, and attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction - homemade bombs. They were rounded up as part of a multi-state FBI investigation into threats from the militia group.

You're referring to shit from 8 years ago,
to bash Christians, conservatives and Trump supporters.

Hey Penelope Remember the guy that shot all those cops in Dallas a two or three years ago? Do you think he was a Trump supporter or an Obama supporter?

The thing is this. Hating them is not enough of a reason to throw them in jail. Well not yet. Yes, the Government does do it, and has for a long time, but it was, is, and will always be wrong.

Let’s go back and look at some famous White Seperatist and White Supremicist stories of days past. Randy Weaver. A jackass if there ever was one. But a jackass who was not hurting anyone. The Feds set him up, and during a botched raid killed his son, wife, and close friend. In the end, Weaver was convicted of one minor charge, paid a small fine, and was released.

The Federal Agents who had shot an unarmed woman holding a baby in the head never faced any charges. The Federal Government paid the people who had shot a US Marshal in self defense if that tells you how bad the story was.

Was Weaver a jackass? Absolutely. Was weaver a criminal? Nope. Was the Government filled to the brim with jackasses equally large? You bet, and even larger. The Federal Agents called their camp during the standoff, Camp Vicki, after the unarmed woman they had shot in the head. They named their camp after the woman they had murdered. I think the Government had even larger jackasses than Weaver, much much larger.

The most recent one, Bundy’s. Again, Jackasses extraordinaire. But again, the Government was the one who was wrong according to the courts. Not because the Bundy’s were radical nutters. But because the Goverment was so desperate to get them, they lied, and manufactured evidence and charges.

Just because the other guy is wrong, doesn’t make what you are doing right. The ends never justify the means. And Might does not make it right.

The lesson learned from this case was not to think any negative thoughts---or so it was reported by one of the members at the time. There was no actual plan and no target.

Look now, I am not fond of militias either but there wasn't enough evidence to make the case. They were "taken care of". They were arrested and, even afterwards, found it difficult to obtain employment for some.

The lesson learned was they are out there, and still are. We have lots of militia's in Mi and across the US. Try and make any gun law and it won't be pretty. So they perhaps changed their names, and the leaders probably lived on welfare, by the looks of the trailer in the middle of nowhere.

The FBI, who are heavily corrupted, can arrest anyone for anything. Proving it and making the charges stick is a whole ‘nuther thing.

At the time of the arrest there was big noise from many militia groups. The problem is that you can't just arrest people 'cuz you want to or 'cuz you don't like them. Either you have evidence or you don't.
