I find it interesting how fractured the christian religion really is, yet all claim the bible as their holy book. There seem to be many forms, sects, or denominations of christianity, yet when you ask someone they will respond, "I'm a Christian". They will not say I'm a Protestant, Catholic, Baptist or Methodist. I wonder why that is?

I imagine it is because they think they are the ones correctly reading and interpreting the bible; they may not consider the other sects or denominations true Christians.

"...yet all claim the bible as their holy book."

You probably know that in Matthew 4 and in Genesis 3 you read Satan conversing in scripture.

And, the variety of 'Christianity' taught in the Obama-Wright Trinity Church of Christ is a Marxist variety known as black liberation theology....

...so, 'ya pays your money, 'ya takes your choice.

How interesting. Kind of like the philosophy that made the Southern Baptists split off.
