to be honest with you, there is an amount of shame involved in sexual abuse of children. If their wasn't the children themselves wouldn't be in any emotional pain themselves and it would be on the level of touching a child on the head without the parents permission. That is not a crime and it doesn't make the child feel ashamed because there is nothing sexual about it. However, touching that sexual arouses the adult is molestation and the child often feels some level of shame because of it.
