Some, but how much more sales and jobs could be created if the government wasn't confiscating the wealth of everyone from the rich down to the lower middle class in order to give to food stamp recipients and every other welfare entitlement program. Imagine if we had no Federal income tax how robust the economy would be. The growth would be unprecedented.
